Actually, I wrote Veterans Day is the day set aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in the military - in wartime or peacetime. Veteran's Day is meant to honor the living

We also have Memorial Day which commemorates all men and women who have died in U.S. military service.

Many people in the United States mix them up and they are our Holidays. :) If they aren't connected to the military or anyone in it, I can see how that would be easy to do. Thank you so much for stopping by and for the lovely comment.
