I'm cutting it very close today, because not only was I distracted by lots of things (both online and off), I also made the mistake of browsing through old pictures, which is never a five minute thing...lol
And the reason I was going through old pictures is today's daily prompt for Hive Blog Posting Month is -
Share 4 phone photos from 4 years ago for Flashback Friday
Problem is, unlike my camera pictures, my phone pics (that I regularly download to my computer & delete off my device) aren't nearly as well organized, so it's hard to browse by time frame. So I started going through one of the first folders I found with phone photos, which happened to be from Spring, 2014.
Four Phone Photos From Spring 2014 for Flashback Friday
1. Our landlords have always allowed hunters on their land, but this particular day, I heard loud voices outside and given we're out in the middle of nowhere, I quickly took a picture out the window so I could show my husband (who was at work) what was going on. Turns out the poor guy (who was part of a group of hunters who'd never visited the property before) on the left side of the picture tripped as they were coming up the hill - good news is that by the time I got outside to see if he needed any help, he & his friends were already up in our driveway and laughing about what a klutz he was.
2. I don't remember where it was that we were headed this particular day, but I do remember taking this picture to send, to show why we were going to be late! 😂
3. Vaguely remember this - I was in the WoW auction house, and someone I'd never talked to before whispered at me, and I believe sent me some items... maybe... okay, I said I vaguely remember, right? I know it was bizarre enough to snap a picture so I wouldn't forget the name (before I was proficient in screencaps...lol)
4. I believe I took this picture of the corner of a shelf on my bookcase because the author of some of the ones on the left (Jane Alexander, no, not the actress) send me a few of her books as a surprise, and I wanted her to see the company they were keeping.
Yes, a bit of an eclectic bunch of shots, but that's what makes a post like this fun, right?

And Google photos have made it easy to save your pictures by timeline and not bother your phone memory space.
Infact, google photos gives yearly reminders and shows memories of posts taken the year before. It sometimes organizes it into collages. You should definitely try it out on Google play store.
