I would have counted it as one of my childhood dreams but the place wasn't clear enough in my dream then, or maybe I didn't know about such a country at the time I first dreamt of it. But I got older and I saw a movie of them... The dreams started coming more clearly.
I dreamt of Korea and that counted as one of the most wonderful dream ever!!!
Uhmm okay, I didn't actually slept off and had the dream of being in Korea... It was daydreaming! That counts too right? I really hope it does because I'm using that to believe that I would visit there someday.
The first time I saw a Korea movie, I decided almost immediately that I wanted to visit that place someday. There are so many reasons I wanted to go there and I'll share some here.
The People and their language
I know you might be wondering how the people could be a reason I want to visit there but to be more specific, I like how the people carry their culture. From ancient times till present, some things just never change with the Koreans and that is their way of showing respect.
This is also one thing I love about the yorubas, Korean people show lots of respect to each other... So much respect even to their enemies. If you do watch kdramas, you'll understand what I mean.
I want to visit there to learn their language and live like them someday. I'm yet to visit there but I've been practicing how to talk, greet and act like them 😂 I still look very awkward doing them but that won't stop me.
Their Food are exceptional
One thing you can use to become a close friend to me is good food, but we will only be friends because of the food though 😝 and my dream land happens to have just all the meals I'm craving to have a taste of. I like their food table when they are prepared to eat... Filled with different salivating dishes.
Do you see the pork meat in one of the pictures? It's one of their favourite meals and it's my favourite too. I do enjoy eating pork meat a lot and I can only imagine how happy I would be to prepare and eat it over there just the way they prepare and eat it too.
Korean are known for their popular meal "Ramyun" and it's what we call "Noodles" over here. I've eaten this meal countless times but I wish to have a taste of their own and also eat their Korean beef and BBQ 😋 I just want to try out so many of their foods.
Their places have memorable views
I'm yet to visit the beautiful places in Nigeria but I've been able to visit some of the beautiful places in Korea through their movies... They sure do have places anyone would visit for fun and relaxation.
They have the south and North Korea... South Korea is where Seoul, the beautiful city lies... That is my focus if I visit there someday. I've also falling in love with the beautiful Busan bridge which they've used in so many scenes I've seen.
Korea has so many beautiful things and activities to make me want to visit there. They are like they have no issue with government or poverty even though I know it's not true. I just want to visit there and learn more about them.
Have I visited Korea? Of course not, as I had stated. It's still a dream yet to come true for me and I'm not losing that dream.
Will I ever visit Korea? Yes, with believe I know I'll be able to visit there someday no matter how long it will take.
What's stopping me from visiting Korea? Money and becoming a visa holder which also goes down to having the money for it. If money wasn't a problem, I'm very sure I must have visited my dream land countless times already.
What will I love to do at Korea?
There are so many things I would love to do which I can't start listing out to avoid a long post but one thing is for sure... I'll make friends with the handsome Korean guys 😂 hopefully get married to one of them, those guys are extra handsome and I don't mind falling for them over and over 😝 Nigerian guys, no offence... You guys are handsome too but I still want to visit my dream land.
Starting up a singing career over there won't be a bad idea either. Korea have amazing musicians, I would love to get acquainted with them and improve on my singing abilities. Hopefully, I'll sing Korean songs to win their heart... Imagine a Nigerian girl at Korea making waves on the internet with her Korean songs 😍😂 I go blow wella!
Korea is my dreamland and I hope to start exchanging words in their language like "Annyeon - Hello" or "Gomabseubnida - Thank you" 😂 you need to hear me pronounce these words.
I know I will visit there one day, that day is coming... I believe 😊

I have heard many story's about Korea too that it is a beautiful country, but now that I can't get there, what I used to see the country is movie, and the internet, the internet has help a lot in taking us to places we want to visit.
