What a fabulous post on adverts from a bygone era. Each one is lovelier than the next, and most importantly, it’s the messages they convey, particularly the Christmas adverts, whatever the product may be, although I really liked the one for El Almendro. The first video gave me an idea of what adverts were like here in Spain, and the Christmas carol featuring the dolls is charming.
There are several things they have in common that I’d like to highlight: one is the point you mention, they show what society was like at the time and adapt to that society when they’re reworked, and another is the artistry in them, like little short films. That last bit is brilliant, thank you so much! And the first part of the post was spectacular; I thought you were trying to sell us something 😆

Que fabulosa publicación sobre publicidades de otra época. Uno es más lindo que el otro y lo más importante son los mensajes que cada uno de ellos dejan, sobre todo las publicidades referidas a la Navidad, sea del artículo que sea, aunque me gustó mucho el de El Almendro. Con el primer video me pude hacer una idea de como eran las publicidades aquí en España y el villancico de las muñecas es encantador.
Hay varias cosas que tienen en común y que me gustaría resaltar, una es el hecho que mencionas, muestran como era la sociedad del momento y se adaptan a esa sociedad cuando lo reformulan y otra el arte que hay en ellos como pequeños cortos de películas. Es último es una genialidad, muchas gracias y la primera parte del texto de la publicación fue espectacular, creí nos querías vender algo😆

Good afternoon, @avdesing. That was indeed the idea: to showcase not just personal or family memories, but also how society has evolved and how that is reflected in advertising. Sometimes, ads project the image we wish existed rather than the reality—which is why I chose the 2020 lottery commercial. It’s excellent and conveys something that was missing in 2020: tenderness. After all, we all remember that the Spain of 2020 wasn't exactly a nation defined by solidarity.

Buenas tardes @avdesing, esa era la idea, la de mostrar no sólo los recuerdos propios o de familia, también mostrar como ha ido cambiando la sociedad y como se refleja en la publicidad. En ocasiones dando la imagen que gustaría que fuera y no la que es, por eso elegí el de la lotería de 2020. Es muy bueno y transmite lo que no hubo en 2020, ternura. Todos recordamos que la España del 2020 no fue precisamente la de una nación solidaria.
El agradecido soy yo por este espacio que ofreces, y por el apoyo a la publicación.
Y sabes? Falta mucha ternura en el mundo hoy mismo, faltan muchas cosas.
