RE: Music Monday On Hive (feel free to add your own tracks)

Ah.. the days indeed. Been meaning to touch base.. been in Somerset since mid March. Crazy times. Getting my country walks in.

Watched the Gentleman last night and they played a version of this. I bloody love it.

Hey my friend .. I hope you've been keeping well, I remember you were heading off for the year .. really sorry that your adventure has been brought to an abrupt halt, but glad that you've been able to make the most of it .. shame we can't hook up for a walk. My brother was supposed to be getting married abroad in July and now that is all off and his fiance is in lockdown in another country .. like you say, crazy times! I have 2-3 more serious posts to write, then I hope to be serving up some more inspirational, philosophical, and spiritual creations that you may appreciate. ;)

Excellent choice, but slightly bittersweet as its reminded me I was supposed to be seeing the remaining Wu Tang Clan this summer! My time will come. :) I've always loved his eccentric, madcap style of delivery .. he didn't live to see old bones, but man he was a force of nature whilst he lived. Such a class the track, the flow, piano .. brilliant!! Thank you for music my friend .. an inspired selection! :) Oh and was the Gentleman any good?

Oh no, so many disappointments this year - it would be great to see them!

He's separated from his fiance? That's heavy!!! Where is she?

We are loving Somerset anyway. We're locked down in a pretty easy county - a little lawless, pretty chilled, not a huge population, and lots of walking tracks with no one on them. It's insanely gorgeous. yesterday we walked 15 kilometres!!!

The Gentleman was fantastic. Really enjoyed it - haven't seen a good British film for ages and though i usually turn my nose up at Hugh Grant, he was fabulous.

Yeah she is in Columbia (with a total enforced lockdown) and he is in the UK, not great. :(

Glad you're enjoying Somerset .. it's a beautiful part of the world, and likewise, down here in Devon you can be out all day and not see another soul .. hence I've been out doing loads of walking, taking pictures and hugging trees .. literally!! lol It's not what any of us planned, but I'm trying to turn a negative into a longterm positive, and working on some ideas and making the most of the time together. So I've been pretty chilled .. but understand it must be a nightmare if you're stuck in a high rise somewhere.

I'll definitely follow up your recommendation .. I do love a good British film, when they get it right they often stand head and shoulders above Hollywoods output.

Oh no, how terrible!! It must be so hard for them and they must really miss each other! I definitely have been hugging trees - suprisingly comforting!! The ash made me melt with love yesterday.
