We haven’t had to adjust the Vote Weights for Precious in many years. I think the last time we had to do it was back in the old STEEM days, but with the Silver Gold Stackers Community having a resurgence of late and lots more great content being produced on the HIVE blockchain it was probably only a matter of time until this day would come.

Ideally we’d like the Voting Power for our Community Curation Account to be fluctuating around that 90% mark so that our members can get the best value for their posts even if they are posting infrequently. Recently the Voting Power has dropped into the 80% range and in the last month or so it’s dropped regularly into the 70% range which is getting a bit low. The trigger for the decision to reduce the Vote Weights came when our PRECIOUS briefly dropped below 70% yesterday. I can’t put the decision off any longer so it’s time to make an adjustment.
After the weekend I’ll be reducing the Daily Vote Allocation on our Sponsorship Tiers by 10% across the board in an attempt to revive the Voting Power on the @ssg-community account. I expect that this should push it back up to be consistently into the 80% range over the short term but it does mean that actual Vote Weights on each SGS post are going to be slightly lower. This might come as a surprise to some of our content creators, but we’ve always managed our Voting Power this way and I hope that other members will join me to help to explain the change.
In the long run it doesn’t make a huge difference to our content creators. As old mate @welshstacker likes to say "It’s a smaller piece of a bigger pie" but it also means that members can post slightly less frequently and get slightly bigger Upvotes if they want to manage their post rate.
Fully support this for the longevity of our community curation bot. Im surprised its only 10%, if im honest.

As @ssg-community continues to grow, her HP increases, attracting more great members and encouraging even more fantastic posts to curate. As she does this, the voting power does suffer. Its a curse of her own success!!! Lol
Since youve manage to add 100kHP(???PLEASE CORRECT ME) since the #monsterraffle, it only makes sense that a decrease in voting% still equates to exactly rhe same upvote value($) as pre-raffle times.
Thise chasing $$ return may complain, but those that understand the importance of slow and stead growth whilst produce higg quality precious metals content will fully understand that this is for the best and the only way to sustain such a large community of amazing and dedicated posters.

I support you on this. one, HIve price is increasing, so decreasing the vote % will have a very less effect in the vote value.
That does not seem like a problem as long as the vote weight is not extremely reduced
