Along with many other aspects of our Western Societies they don't work for the people the way that they are supposed to and this situation is likely to get worse before it gets any better. A lot of people put their head in the sand or throw their hands in the air and just think nothing can be done...a crisis is coming and there are no solutions. However there are some people who are working on solutions already and Catherine Austin Fitts is one of those people...

She has recently done an extensive interview with Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog where she talks about setting up Sovereign State Banks and State Bullion Depositories. The point being that if these institutions are in place then they will offer a Safe Haven for people to not only protect their wealth but continue to trade freely and prosper even as the old system collapses around them.
For the most awake it has become clear that the preferred State Solution to the growing problems in our global economic and financial systems is to institute Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC). We know that this solution is not good for individual freedom and we need alternatives so that we don't get dragged down with the old system or be herded into this new tyrannical one that they are building. That's why the work Catherine Austin Fitts is doing promoting alternative solutions is so important. Each state having their own depository means decentralization! Speaking of depositories, I just discovered a local private PM Depository at 50 min drive from me. They are also a PM Retailer. Cool!

And not too bad prices in $CAD but it is a bit of a car trip to get there.
This is an opportunity option to decentralize my physical stack.
I'm all for states having bullion depositories. The more leverage they have to give the Federal government the finger and maintain sovereignty, the more free we are as a society.

I’ve read a bunch on state bullion depositories. Texas is the leading state with this and it will continue to grow as people wake up.
Nice. Sounds like Tennessee is doing really well along these lines too.
And New Hampshire has a bill up for vote to make gold and silver legal tender right now.
That sounds a lot like something that Andrew Jackson would have liked. He was a proponent of state banks wasn't he? We got to visit his homestead in Nashville and they played a video about him. I remember them talking about State Bank Notes.
Very nice. That would have been an interesting tour.
It was pretty sweet. One of the only remaining presidential homesteads in the country. They wouldn't let you take photos indoors though.
I think it's a great idea, giving states more autonomy. Every state should have one!
A state bullion repository is not now permitted by California law. But despite the fact that California does not yet have a bullion depository, there is cause for optimism. Other states will probably follow Texas' lead in promoting state depository programs.
