How come I'm able to do the 50/50...??? Half goes to Power Up and Half goes to Hive Dollars... I don't understand... But you still don't need all that Hive tied up in the Savings Account... Just keep in mind, that the more Precious gives, the more Precious gets back... Screw the Savings Account...
The 50/50 is for the author rewards, NOT the curation rewards. If you have a read back through my recent posts I explain that the Savings were only being used short term to maintain some liquidity for cashflow management over the 1st quarter of 2024.
You should also know that the account is in perpetual Powerdown by design - according to the projects original charter - which states it will distribute wealth back to members and NOT accumulate wealth.
I took another look... So, a tiny amount of rewards goes to Hive Dollars and the rest goes to Hive Power... My question is where did that much Savings come from so fast...??? It's as if it's being Drained from somewhere, that I just don't understand... I am aware of Power Downs... So the excess must be going to the Savings instead of the Power Up... Okay, I see now...
We held a community fundraiser called the Monster Raffle back in September last year where we raised significant funds to pay for extra Hive Power leases over 6 months. I have been writing extensively about it. We hope to run another Monster Raffle again in March this year. Perhaps you will consider getting involved to support it this time.
I can donate Hive or Hive Dollars, but that's the best I can offer... I suppose I can buy Tickets for other Members...
