US Modern Commemorative Silver Dollar Olympics, Atlanta, Georgia 3/16/2023

The Local Coin Shop is liquidating their US Commemorative Silver Dollars, at below original US Mint prices. The US Mint's final mintage numbers, of the Olympic High Jump Silver Dollar, was BU 15,697 and Proof 124,502. The BU is over 229 times rarer, than the key-date, 1996 American Silver Eagle, mintage 3,602,386. Presently, there are about 53 different versions/variations, of US Modern Commemorative Silver Dollars, over the last 5 decades, starting in 1982.

This is a really nice coin. The 96 Olympics are memorable for a couple of reasons, between the bombing and Michael Johnson's amazing record breaking double in the 200 and 400 meters.

Makes me want to add more to my commemorative collectables.

So it's a gift for every silver lover. Would be a nice addition to the collection. I love this olympic coin.

With the relatively low mintage's it would be worth picking up on the cheap.
