Unfortunately you can no longer redeem these for silver. Would be cool to go cash these in.
I over paid for these. I kinda go hustled. I didn’t do my due diligence. These are probably worth around $3-4 each I paid about 8 each.

I’ll probably give 1 to my dad and keep the other 2.

Cool, I have a few of these Silver certificates from my Dad's collection stuffed in an envelope of old banknotes. These would have been traded in for a Peace dollar. Looking in the same envelope there were also US $2 bills as well. I know this denomination is still circulating but I don't see them often if at all.

Cool. Yeah I need to learn even more. Should have traded them for peace dollars when they had a chance.
Yeah, that's my attitude with collectables like this. If I overpay, well... rats.. but at least I have some cool history to take out and look at occasionally. And in the long game if the price goes up, well eventually I can get a profit.
