The South Sea Pearl divers of old... they can amazingly hold their breath and go down to the deep seafloor to get those large pearls! I was just telling @ronavel that I actually met three professional mermaids at the Dive Bar of Sacramento, CA. They are very graceful in the water. I high school, I tried synchronize swimming. That too is a beautiful and graceful sport, like gymnastics. Yes, it is really nice to have that pool, and very glad that friends can enjoy the pool with me too.

I recall stories of the South Sea perl divers when I was a kid. Everyone I knew as a kid, me included, learned to swim at a very early age. I remember we all timed ourselves underwater, and none of us could stay under THAT long.....
