They grow up so fast! Our new Precious Silver Mermaid was born into the HIVE blockchain world less than a week ago but she has already found her fins and seems to be swimming with ease. Her HIVE Power has been a bit volatile through the week but she is definitely up there with the Dolphins and has been sharing some of her love around the #SilverGoldStackers community tag with some really good results so far.
We’ve seen some of our most reliable community members continue posting their precious metals content daily, but we’ve also seen a few other members who have been a bit quiet lately re-adjusting their focus to put out some good posts on the #SilverGoldStackers tag too and that’s exactly what we want to see. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of a catalyst to generate fresh enthusiasm and spark new interest in an old passion. With Precious 2.0 we may have found that spark, but there’s a long way to go and still a lot to do. We have lost a few delegations but we’ve also gained some and while members seem to be gradually warming to the new Precious it might take a while for people to fully realise how best she can help them. Some members seem to be taking a “wait and see” approach but hopefully they will soon see what Precious 2.0 can do for this community on the HIVE blockchain.
On a technical level, the code running Precious 2.0 has been running smoothly without any issues. There has been zero downtime and no votes have been missed. There is some complexity in the way the vote weights are calculated but once members get used to the way the vote accruals work they should be very comfortable that they’ll be looked after. All subscribers really need to focus on is producing quality content about precious metals and/or the community and then post it to the #SilverGoldStackers community tag.
We have had a bit of an issue with the Voting Power being a bit higher than we’d like. We started the month with a boost to the daily vote allocations and then jacked them up again when we first hit 100% VP. We have self-voted a little bit to try and recycle the VP for members, but in an effort to promote the tag and engagement on our members precious metals content we have also spent some of the excess voting power by giving out small votes on members posts and comments manually. We don’t like to waste Voting Power and these are just temporary measures we probably won’t need to do once we find a new equilibrium, but in the short term we’d like to encourage everyone to get involved by posting good content to the tag and engaging with the content you like with good comments. You never know, even if you’re not a subscriber you might find Precious dropping in at some point and sprinkling some love on you with a nice little upvote the next time she is getting too close to 100%.
All up, it’s still early days but @welshstacker and I are very happy with how things are going so far and we hope that community members are happy with how things are developing too.

I post everyday.
However, I no longer use the Silver Gold Stackers community page as I much as I used to. I now use Leo Finance as a front end to post my precious metals article if my content is finance related as the Leo Finance community is primarily "content related to crypto & finance." (I feel bad about that, because some articles with important messages, I think, and sharing of my personal experiences about precious metals stacking now reside in Leo Finance, and probably lost among the thousands of articles, mixed up with all sorts of finance-related topics posted by everyone else.)
If my article is just to "show" precious metals, then that is when I use the Silver Gold Stackers Community.
I have other interests as well and write articles about other topics and post those using other community frontends as requested or required by the admins/mod/host of the challenge or topic. In that case, I show my precious metals in one portion of the article so that I can use the #silvergoldstackers tag, and in so doing, avail of our dear Precious' upvote.

Hi @ronavel, thanks for letting us know. I don't want to manually upvote it incase I break @buggedout 's little baby. Once he wakes up I'm sure hell find the problem and fix it and get you sorted straight away and back on track.
