It’s been just over a week since I anounced that this year’s #SecretSilverSanta is officially underway, and I’m thrilled to say the response has already been fantastic! The festive spirit is alive and well in our #silvergoldstackers community, with plenty of familiar names (and some new ones too) jumping in to take part.
But, as always, I know there are a few of you still lurking in the background, maybe you missed the first call, or maybe you’re still deciding whether to get involved. If that sounds like you, don’t worry, there’s still time! There will be several more chances to join in before the big draw.
For anyone new to the idea, the rules are simple:
All you need to do is comment “I’m in” on the official #SecretSilverSanta post to confirm you want to take part. Once you’re in, you’ll be randomly paired with another member of the community. Each participant sends and receives at least one ounce of silver — a small but meaningful gift from one stacker to another.
I’ll soon be listing everyone who’s confirmed so far below, so if you’ve already said you’re in, make sure your name appears. If I’ve missed you, just give me a nudge in the comments and I’ll get you added right away. Now, for those who have already joined — here’s where the fun begins. Over the past week, we’ve been running a series of light-hearted posts to help your Secret Santa get to know what kind of silver makes you tick. Whether you prefer bars or rounds, coins or collectibles, or even have a favourite series or theme, now’s your chance to share your stacking style!

Maybe you’re a weight stacker, hunting the best silver per ounce, or perhaps you’re a collector at heart, chasing unique designs like Britannias, Maples, or vintage Libertads. Some of you love fractional silver, others swear by the solid feel of a chunky 2oz coin. Whatever your preference, now’s the time to make it known, it could help your Secret Santa choose the perfect piece for you! The aim of #SecretSilverSanta has always been to celebrate the generosity and camaraderie of our stacking community. It’s not about the value , it’s about the thought, the surprise, and the joy of sharing this hobby we all love.
So, if you haven’t already, get your name in the tub (yes, the same sweet tub that’s been used since the very first Secret Silver Santa!). The draw will take place in early November, giving everyone plenty of time to find and send something special for their fellow stacker
