Hello, shadow warriors! Today I am going to introduce you to Ling, the shadowsmith, a master of the katana and his mysterious flask filled with a liquid of dubious origin. The first time I played with him I loved it, but then I discovered another character and I didn't like it so much, but I still have and want to talk about him. So, here I go!
¡Hola, guerreros de las sombras! Hoy les voy a presentar a Ling, el forjasombras, un maestro de la katana y su misterioso frasco lleno de un líquido de dudosa procedencia. La primera vez vez que jugué con él me encantó, pero entonces descubrí otro personajes y no me gustó tanto, pero igual tengo y quiero hablar de él. Así que, ¡aquí voy!
Ling, an old shadowsmith, is one of those characters that you have to be very careful to use, because one false move and it can be your downfall. Ling uses a katana that has the power to pass everything, because his unique ability consists in that after two successful attacks of the katana, the third attack passes through the defense of the enemy and causes him great critical damage, no matter that they are defending themselves, that will be their end.
In order to use Ling correctly or in a better way, first he must defend himself from the enemy's attacks and then attack. He does not like to rush, dodging and blocking is his specialty, which I do not like because what I want is to attack without stopping and with Link he cannot because when he is near the enemy it is difficult for him to hit his attacks.
Ling, un anciano forjasombras, es uno de esos personajes que hay que tener mucho cuidado de usar, porque un movimiento en falso y puede ser tu perdición. Ling usa una katana que tiene el poder de traspasar todo, pues su habilidad única consiste en que tras dos ataques exitosos de la katana, el tercer ataque traspasa la defensa del enemigo y le causa un gran daño crítico, no importa que se estén defendiendo, ese va a ser su fin.
Para usar correctamente o de una mejor forma a Ling hay que primero defenderse de los ataques enemigos y después atacar, a él no les gustan las prisas, esquivar y bloquear es su especialidad, cosa que no me agrada porque yo lo que quiero es atacar sin parar y con Link no puede porque cuando está cerca del enemigo es difícil que acierte sus ataques.
As you know, when you reach level two each character unlocks two new talents of which you can only use one of them during the battle. The first talent that Ling unlocks is Powerful Slash, and it consists of the cutting attack, which is activated after two successful hits with the katana, causing more damage. The second talent is called Improved Flask and makes the Ling flask recharge faster and cause more damage.
Of these first two talents my favorite is Powerful Slash, I usually attack only with the katana and always on the third attack thanks to the cutting attack I cause a lot of damage no matter if the enemy is protecting himself, none of that matters, and because of the talent the cutting attack causes much more damage than normal.
Como ya saben, al llegar al nivel dos cada personaje desbloquea dos nuevos talentos de los cuales solo puedes usar uno de ellos durante la batalla. El primer talento que desbloquea Ling es Tajo Poderoso, y consiste en que el ataque cortante, el cual se activa luego de dos golpes exitosos con la katana, causa más daño. El segundo talento se llama Frasco Mejorado y hace que el frasco de Ling se recargue más rápido y cause más daño.
De estos primeros dos talentos mi favorito es Tajo Poderoso, suelo atacar solo con la katana y siempre al tercer ataque gracias al ataque cortante causo mucho daño sin importar que el enemigo se esté protegiendo, nada de eso importa, y por el talento el ataque cortante causa mucho más daño del normal.
Upon reaching level four, two new talents are unlocked. Ling's third talent is Flask of Concentration, and every time Ling drinks from his flask, the sharp attack counter is reduced to one, normally he needs two attacks to activate it, but with this talent it only takes one successful attack to activate it and be able to cause a lot of damage no matter what they are defending. The second talent is Perfect Balance and makes Ling gain a new shadow skill. Normally Ling has only one shadow skill, but with this talent he can have two.
My favorite of these two talents is Perfect Balance, making Ling have one more shadow skill is very useful, because his shadow attacks are close and the second attack is far away. The Flask of Concentration talent is much more useful if combined with the Improved Flask talent, because the flask causes more damage and the successful attacks needed to activate the cutting attack are reduced to one instead of two.
Al llegar al nivel cuatro se desbloquean dos nuevos talentos. El tercer talento de Ling es Frasco de Concentración, y cada vez que Ling bebe de su frasco, el contador del ataque cortante se reduce a uno, normalmente necesita dos ataques para activarlo, pero con este talente solo se necesita de un ataque exitoso para activarlo y poder causar mucho daño sin importar que se estén defendiendo. El segundo talento es Equilibrio Perfecto y hace que Ling gane una habilidad de las sombras nueva. Normalmente Ling tiene una sola habilidad de las sombras, pero con este talento puede tener dos.
Mi favorito de estos dos talentes es Equilibrio Perfecto, hacer que Ling tenga una habilidad de las sombras más es muy útil, porque sus ataques de las sombras son de cerca y el segundo ataque es de lejos. El talento de Frasco de Concentración es mucho más útil si se combina con el talento de Frasco Mejora, pues el frasco causa más daño y los ataques exitosos necesarios para activar el ataque cortante se reduce a uno en vez de dos.
Ling is one of the characters that only have one shadow skill, but as you level up you can unlock more, as is the case with Perfect Balance, which adds a new skill to Ling. Ling's first shadow skill is Piercing Lunge and it pierces the enemy with its katana, lifting him in the air and then dropping him, all of which causes him a lot of damage, and it's my favorite. The second skill of Ling's shadows is Perfect Balance, obtained by using the talent unlocked at level 4, with this skill of the shadows Ling places the Katana in front of him and kicks it, making it turn a certain distance causing a lot of damage to the enemy.
Here I leave you the gameplay with Ling! I don't know after which attempt I succeeded, but I won all three battles with him, which was not easy because despite causing quite a lot of damage, he is one of the characters I handle the less; it was still a lot of fun and I would repeat it without hesitation, well, maybe I doubt it a little. Ling es de los personajes que solo tienen una habilidad de las sombras, pero según se le sube de nivel puede ir desbloqueando más, como es el caso de Equilibrio Perfecto, que le suma una nueva habilidad a Ling. La primera habilidad de las sombras de Ling es Estocada Perforante y atraviesa al enemigo con su katana, lo levanta en el aire y después lo deja caer, todo eso causándole mucho daño, y es mi favorito. La segunda habilidad de las sombras de Ling es Equilibrio Perfecto, obtenida al usar el talento desbloqueado en el nivel 4, con esta habilidad de las sombras Ling coloca la Katana frente a él y la patea, haciendo que gire cierta distancia causándole mucho daño al enemigo.
¡Aquí les dejo el gameplay con Ling! No sé después de cuál intento lo logré, pero gané las tres batallas con él, cosa que no fue fácil porque a pesar de causar bastante daño, es de los personajes que menos manejo; igual fue muy divertido y lo volvería a repetir sin dudarlo, bueno, quizás lo dude un poco. ¡Atrévanse a unirse al torneo de las sombras y jueguen por sus vidas!
