Hello My Traveling Friends,
I'm amazed that I'm traveling when the sun is at its peak. There are steep cliffs scattered around here. I follow the water flowing between these rocks and walk without knowing where I am going. The voice inside me is pushing me. I'm curious and a little excited. I continue to walk with difficulty among the big stones, smelling the sweet scent of nature. Let me show you the exquisite view that I encountered at the end of the road.
You will even fall in love with the color of the water flowing by beating large and small rocks scattered among the small coniferous pine trees in the Taurus Mountains. The name of this place is not heard much. Even though I went on a Sunday, there was a group of three or four young friends. To get here, as I mentioned above, you have to pass through a stream with large boulders and a difficult trail with a slight slope. This place is located in Serik district of Antalya. It is located in a location called Akbaş Kelmen, just ahead of the Akbaş pond in Serik district. Antalya center is approximately one and a half hours away. It is possible to reach the waterfall in half an hour from Serik district.
As I walked along the road on my way here, I came across small pools, all of which had their own beauty. There is also an ancient settlement in this location, which is mostly known by the local people. When you enter the ice-cold turquoise pool after that tiring track, you can consider yourself above the clouds.🙃 The entrance of the pool is a bit stony, frankly, I had a hard time. But as I moved towards the middle, I started to enjoy it as the droplets of water flowing from the top hit my face.
Let me tell you from the beginning, there are no businesses or cafes here. I can say that the internet does not attract at all in some parts. But it is an ideal area for camping. There are narrow but enjoyable walking paths by the small pools. The height of the trees and the fact that their branches hung in different shapes added a different beauty to nature. While walking on those narrow dirt roads, you enter into a small-scale war with the thorns, bushes and plants that come your way.
There are so many beautiful plants that I don't know about that feed on the water of this beautiful pool; All of them have found a place among the rocks. The water of this waterfall comes from the Etler waterfall located above. Gökbüvet waterfall, in a way, acts as a bridge between Etler Waterfall and Akbaş pond. I also mentioned Etler waterfall Source and Akbaş pond in my previous articles.
In order to explore every aspect of this corner of paradise, I occasionally move away from the pool and enter a challenging path, jumping over rocks and passing through the water. Even though I later realized that I needed to buy sturdy boots while walking this difficult path, the walk was enjoyable. My aim was to find a flat, calm and watery place where I could see clearly, and to reduce the burden of the thermos I was carrying on my back and the food and drinks I took with me. I finally found it in such a place.
My greatest wish is that this natural wonder landscape is not polluted. I hope people like me who come to explore this place do not skip this detail. Stay in touch with nature. Love.

Güneşin tamda tepe noktasında olduğu sırada geziye çıkıyor olmama şaşıyorum. Burada etrafa dağınık olarak yerleşen sarp kayalıklar var. Bu kayaların arasından şırıl şırıl akan suyu takip ederek nereye gittiğimi bilmeden yürüyorum. İçimdeki ses beni dürtüyor. Meraklanıyorum, biraz da heyecanlanıyorum. Doğadan çıkan mis kokunu koklayarak, büyük taşların arasından zorlanarak yürümeye devam ediyorum. Yolun sonunda karşıma çıkan enfes manzarayı hemen size göstereyim.
Toros dağlarının içindeki küçük iğne yapraklı çam ağaçlarının arasında dağınık bir şekilde duran, büyük küçük kaya parçalarını döverek akan suyun rengine bile aşık olursunuz. Buranın adı çok fazla duyulmamış. Hatta bir pazar günü gitmiş olmama rağmen üç dört kişilik genç bir arkadaş grubu vardı. Buraya gelebilmek için, yukarıda da bahsettiğim gibi, büyük kaya parçaları olan, bir derenin içinden, hafif yokuşlu zor bir parkurdan geçmelisiniz. Burası, Antalya'nın Serik ilçesinde yer alıyor. Serik ilçesinde bulunan Akbaş göletinin biraz ilerisinde Akbaş Kelmen dedikleri bir mevkide konumlandırılmış. Antalya merkezi yaklaşık bir buçuk saat uzaklıktadır. Serik ilçesinden de yarım saatte şelaleye ulaşmanız mümkündür.
Buraya gelirken, yol boyunca yürüdükçe hepsinin ayrı bir güzelliği olan, küçük havuzlara da rastladım. Çoğunluğunun olarak yöre halkının bildiği bu mevkiinde antik bir yerleşim alanı da bulunmaktadır. O yorucu parkurun ardından turkuaz rengine bürünmüş buz gibi havuzun içine girdiğinizde, kendinizi bulutların üstünde sayabilirsiniz.🙃 Havuzun giriş kısmı biraz taşlık, açıkçası zorlandım. Ama ortalara doğru ilerledikçe tepeden akan suyun damlacıkları yüzüme geldikçe, keyif almaya başladım.
Baştan söyleyeyim, burada herhangi bir işletme ya da kafe yok. İnternetin bazı bölümlerde hiç çekmediğini söyleyebilirim. Ama kamp yapmak için son derece ideal bir alan. Küçük havuzların kenarında dar ama insana büyük keyif veren yürüyüş yolları var. Ağaçların boyları, değişik şekillerde dallarının etrafa sarkmış olması da doğaya ayrı bir güzellik katmış. O dar topraklı yollar da yürürken, önünüze gelen dikenler çalılar ve bitkilerle küçük çaplı bir savaşa giriyorsunuz.😊
Bu güzel havuzun suyu ile beslenen benim bilmediğim o kadar güzel bitkiler var ki; hepsi kayalıkların arasında kendilerine yer edinmişler. Bu şelalenin suyu yukarısında bulunan Etler şelalesinden gelmektedir. Gökbüvet şelalesi, bir bakıma Etler Şelalesi ve Akbaş göleti arasında bir köprü vaziyesi görmektedir. Bu cennet köşesinin her tarafını keşfetmek için arada havuzdan uzaklaşarak kayaların üstünden atlayarak, suyun içinden de geçerek zorlu bir patika yoluna giriyorum. Bu zorlu patika yolu yürürken ayağıma sağlam bir bot almak gerektiğini sonradan fark etsem de yürüyüş keyifli geçiyordu. Amacım düz sakin ve sulu net görebileceğim bir yer bulup, sırtımda taşıdığım termosun ve yanıma aldığım yiyecek ve içeceklerin yükünü azaltmak istiyordum. Sonunda öyle bir yerde buldum.
En büyük dileğim, bu doğa harikası manzaranın kirletilmemesidir. Benim gibi burayı keşfe gelen insanlarımız umarım bu detayı atlamazlar. Doğayla içe içe kalın. Sevgiler.
Beautiful pristine clean gorge to walk up, although tackling some plants the tend to scratch along the way.
Colour of the waters stunning in places, obvious fed from high mountains giving superb touch of turquoise.
