I'm sorry your car was damaged although you seem to be ok about it and have got it all under control. I think that's the best scenario in this case, imagine if that van had not hit your car and had ended up striking a child instead?

That for sure would have been bad. Fortunately, the van most likely moved very slowly. A lot of time to move out of the way. But yeah, the change for a sad scenario is sure possibel
