Here in Africa secreting keys anywhere is not an option. Sadly, locking houses, doesn't seem much of a deterrent either. We are very blessed to live in one of the safest parts of the country. But I know many who have internal gates and sleep armed....such a terrible existence
Yeah, one needs to be mindful of undesirables finding hidden keys. There's loads of them too, unfortunately.
