Quick Escape: Chasing Sunset with my love!
"Time wasted at the beach is time well spent."
Today my partner and I decided to have a quick trip. We had planned to go the nearest beach in our hometown and enjoy the rest of the day outside.
Since I was craving of sunset viewing the past few days, my boyfriend granted my wish. He prepared food for a mini picnic in the seashore for us. He cooked our all time favorite spaghetti and the famous Filipino street foods such as fish balls, veggie balls, and quail egg waffles. Aside from those delicious foods that we have brought, we also ordered one of the famous filipino rice cake desserts which was the Palitaw. I was really amazed in the foods that he had prapared knowing that there's no specific special celebration for that day. That's why I couldn't thank the Lord enough for blessing me a man like him who would make extra effort to make his girl feel special.
Since it was so windy that day and the waves was not in the good condition, we just opted to sit, wait for the sun to set, and talk about life while eating the foods that we have prepared. We also noticed that the boats of locals were parked in the seashore. Maybe they were not able to go fishing as the waves were really big and dangerous.
When we have finally saw the sunset, we just took some photos of it. And since it was such a memorable and special day for us, I asked one of the locals in the beach to take some picture of us with the sunset in the background. And upon checking the results, I was in awe with the gorgeous view of the sunset. It was really beautiful that you will wish for it to stay longer that way. But of course we all know that sunset is just temporary knowing that a new day was about to rise. So we better enjoy and treassure each moments!
Sunset will forever have a special spot in my heart and I will not get tired of chasing it!
