RE: Where on Wednesday

Hey mate, nice dual-purpose post and thanks for doing a #whereonwednesday post plus your first post into The Pew! Nifty work!

Memories of stuff like this is what keeps people together when they're apart. I never went hunting with my brother's as they don't shoot, but we did other things that we can draw upon as memories and have a connection despite the fact we're spread all over the world.

A decent post for your first, certainly one that confirms your legend status. As if there was any doubt.

P.s. You used a solid in the shotgun, or SG's?

Sort:

Straight up slug, been hunting and shooting my whole life. Besides sporting clays, I have hardly ever fired a shotgun. Coon and squirrels always .22lr or 22wmr. I never got into duck hunting because I was always intimidated by the regulations, even though my high school friends are diehard duck hunters.

My brother is currently in the market for some hinting land 40+ acres and we are considering going in half and half for a place to take our children hunting when we visit. Or I could just let him buy it and use it free of charge 🤣🤣

Oh, yeah well a solid would have done the job at that range. I shot a goat at 100m once with a solid...Hmm, not a pretty sight. I don't do much with the shotgun either. I have one, but always just used it as a back up when pig shooting. Did some sporting clays several weeks ago though.

Tip: Let him buy it...You use it. Lol.
