Yes, these are a bit pricier than the non-stabilized ones, but if you like the higher magnification a definite must. These can actually be held steady enough for hunting use with one hand, not a simple feat for 18x. If you're happy with lower magnification 8-12x then maybe no need for the stabilization, but wow what a difference it makes.
I also researched the comparable Sig product and some offshore, but these seemed best for my use with the Sig a close second. I like the single push to activate/deactivate the stabilization rather than having to hold button down during use. The Sig seemed to take multiple steps / clicks to get locked in, otherwise also looked solid.
Yep, what I'd expected. I spent a lot of time looking through the Sig variant and liked them, but there's better I think. It's good to hear what you think though, perspective is always welcome.
