Greetings to this Community of lovers of natural spaces, I did not know this space and I love to have found this Community to share content of the natural sites I visit.
On Thursday I felt a great desire to be at the beach, but as we are still in holiday season in my country, the coastal beaches near the capital city are usually crowded these days and I did not want to go to a crowded place, rather I wanted to disconnect from the city, the phone and enjoy nature to the fullest.
So I called a couple of cute friends @evev and @aguamiel and asked them if they wanted to go to "La Sabana" with me.
La Sabana is a small fishing village located about 3 hours away from the capital city, to get there you have to make a long journey through some little traveled mountains and once you are there you enter a totally different environment from the hustle and bustle of the city. My friends and I felt that we had arrived at a place where we enjoyed "timelessness", it seemed that the clock stopped and the seconds passed very slowly.
We arrived on Friday afternoon, we left our things at the inn and went directly to the beach, as you can see in the pictures, they are beaches that in my country are called "open sea", long beaches with lots of waves.
This beach is called "Los bajitos" apparently they called it that way because it is the most recommended for the little ones, because it has less waves. The water was crystal clear and the temperature was perfect, however the waves kept us swimming very close to the shore.
There was no awning, chairs or any kind of comfort that you usually find on the beaches of the coast of La Guaira, even took us by surprise because having left home without any planning we did not take much more than beach clothes and towels to enjoy the sea and there were no food vendors there.
We lay on the sand to sunbathe, enjoyed the warmth of the water, meditated with the swaying of the waves, painted hieroglyphs in the sand with the child and enjoyed the joy of having the sea all to ourselves, just what we wanted, a place away from the city, without noise or people and surrounded by nature.
The most interesting thing about this place is that it combines the attraction of the mountain with the ocean in one place, I will show you more pictures later, and for sure my friends @aguamiel and @evev will also share their experience.
