My day is fulfilling and satisfying if various obstacles are conquered and succeed. In facing all these challenges, one of the motivating factors is coming out of the comfort zone as this will foster self-esteem. Adventure time has no limit, is boundless, and appealing to both kids and adults.
As agreed with my travel buddies, a 6-hour adventure is to be accomplished as 2024 starts. This was our first outdoor activity of the year. Without any hesitations, we traveled to Tuburan, Cebu as they are well-known for many beautiful spots that will transport us to amusement and exciting experiences.
Conquering the Incredible Marmol Cliff
Our first challenge started by surpassing the long, and winding treacherous river. My experience here raised my adrenaline rush. I needed the mighty power of determination to conquer my fear upon crossing the river filled with slippery gravel and pebbles. Agility and the skill of balancing the motorcycle are highly needed to reach the riverbed safely.
In this journey, hardship without any doubt was felt along our way however, even a little regret was not reflected in our eyes. It seemed that the great accomplishment was reached profoundly upon seeing the awe-inspiring view of the Marmol Cliff of Tuburan.
The Perks of Being on the Peak
Our full fun challenging journey continued as we excitedly headed forward to our next destination. Mountaineering is one of the outdoor activities loved by the team. Off we went to Atabay Peak still in Tuburan to relish the panoramic view at the summit that brings joyful memories.
It's been 3 months that I wasn't able to climb mountains already. As we did the climb, the steep ascent brought me to palpitation. I was thinking that my endurance was declining. Maybe it's because of my age or due to a lack of physical activity. We rested for about 10 minutes before we headed to the top.
The hot temperature that we encountered upon going here suddenly was replaced with a cool one. The green scene that surrounded us brought us to relaxation as the cool breeze from the mountains gently penetrated our bodies. Instantly, the calming sensation replaced my palpitating heart.
All efforts invested just to reach the Atabay Peak was literally an achievement. At the summit comes the true essence of pride and triumph as we witness the amazing view of nature. The incredible wonders that stole my heart and brought me to great amusement.
Catch me and be satisfied
The fun continued as we witnessed excitedly that these laborers from the district skillfully caught the fish alive. This was my first time seeing the tilapia being caught alive. It was an enjoyable experience.
Conquer the Bamboo Tunnel
I was expecting that the slender stalks of the bamboo would entice us along our way, however, they have not fully grown yet. But still, the wide area of the place never failed to amuse us as the bamboo started to boost its beauty.
We headed forward to explore what else does this place offer. Awaited for us at the end part was the wondrous spot that would bridge us to the vastness of the natural landscape, the majestic mountains. Everything here is truly admirable despite the blazing heat of the sun.
Being at the elevated spot, we were able to experience tranquility and serenity that led us to a positive outlook on life and an incredible moment with nature.
This day is fully wrapped with a full-fun and challenging experience that is truly remarkable. Different emotions were faced and conquered confidently. Different techniques and strategies were applied to overcome the obstacles that definitely measured our strong will and might.
These strenuous activities that are of full adventure leave a great positive impact on our lives as we continually develop positive growth in our well-being.
