One of the things I focus on is my fascination with nature. Immersing myself in the splendid vista and the dramatic scene of nature has brought amazing revealing factors that are beneficial to my well-being. Another goodness that it offers to humans is being free to all ages, thus every time I do this, RM is always on the go.
Now join us as we explore the wonderland of Mabuli, Tabogon, Cebu wherein the magnificent beauty of nature attracted our attention. It is in this expedition that the magical setting of these hidden wonders served as an incredible equalizer that is essential to all living things.
Nature's Way of Sharing
It was three weeks ago when we headed to our agreed destination. The beauty of the place is uniquely hidden, it needs more effort to reach its glorious beauty, and after surpassing it, an inner joy is waiting in solitude.
In life, it has been said that we will go through the eye of a needle before we can achieve success. Same as we did in this journey. The path to going there is full of challenges. No single word of complaint was uttered from our mouths as this is what we like most, an adventurous one. We slid into the magical entrance made of weeds to enter the hidden cave shrouded in wonder. Honestly, we were having fun as we did it, it reminded me of those days when we slid down the uphills. What a great feeling I got!
Upon our arrival at its mouth, the overflowing happiness was felt and there was satisfaction when we witnessed the magnificent view of the Patag Cave. The scenes inside reminded me of the interdependence of life. The shared blessings of nature to human beings are immeasurable however, some of the locals were blinded by its goodness. Their welfare was given the preference that made it imbalanced.
Our exploration doesn't end at Patag Cave. We continued our expedition to find solace and discover another splendid beauty of nature. Amidst the dense mini-forest, there was amusement upon seeing the dome-shaped serves as the dwelling place of the bees. A little bit scary, but they will not hurt passers-by when they don't disturb their humble abode.
Finally, we reached the Lapus-lapus Cave which means two huge doors at a symmetrical angle. The discovery of the mysterious cave touched my heart and emotions. It is truly captivating. I was contemplating how beautiful life would be if there was serenity. There is fresh air, the chirping of the birds is relaxing to hear and certainly, there is a positive outlook in life if the surroundings are this peaceful. Surely, good lives can be achieved.
This adventurous trail with my child taught her the importance of valuing nature as it gives us total peace of mind. The aromatic smell of the cave's ground is soothing to our senses. To have eye-witnessed the magnificent nature's beauty is substantial to the development of our mental and physical state. Everything here is extremely helpful to our well-being.
The challenges in life are never-ending, and the ascending part of this journey made me stronger and capable of doing another adventure. After witnessing the magical view of nature, the world of survival was revealed to my child's eyes. She wondered what was buried in the soil and what was that smoke coming out from it. Later on, she learned that this is the means of living of the inhabitants in the countryside, producing charcoal from the branches of trees. A concrete proof of man's dependence on nature to live.
As we venture out to embrace the goodness of nature, its true spirit of companionship is never fading. After staying under the blazing heat of the sun, we were able to enjoy the spreading canopy of the trees that served as the relaxing shade that we needed. We were exhausted but fulfilled from this physical activity. The fresh mountain breeze caressed our skin and we were revitalized.
It was such a good and wonderful day after this great outdoor activity. With nature, everything is incredible. Another amazing bond of friendship was strengthened and an adventure with nature that is life-changing.
A bite of native fruit picked along the road ended and made our day more enjoyable and fulfilling.

The local fruit is guava?
Yes, it is a guava 😍. Honestly, we were hungry at this moment already and we were running out of food. We were so glad to have seen the guava tree behind the road. Our hunger was saved ☺️.
It is so sweet and my child was having fun picking up the fruits as they can be reached by hand.
The hidden gem is worth a visit, you are definitely right. It is not a waste of time.
Guava is my fav. Here it can be grow wild. 🙂
It is reached in Vitamin C and I like this fruit too. I'd prefer the unripe one.
