Agriculture can be define as the art and science of cultivating the land in order to earn income and rearing animals for man's use.
- Agriculture provide food to almost all the country in the world .
- it also provides employment
- Agriculture provides cotton, leather and wood for construction and paper.
- it also brings foreign exchange.
- Agriculture provides raw materials
Their are two types agriculture namely :
*Commercials agriculture
*Subsistence agriculture
Commercials agriculture: This is a types of agriculture whereby the famer labour for sale and make profit only.
*Subsistence agriculture: of In this type of agriculture the famer labour for himself and his family only.

These problem of agriculture has overspread all Nigerian farmers, today there's nothing like using machine to do agriculture work. Though some farmers might have some farm mechanies But they would be able to repair or locate spare part of these Machines
Farmers production in their year to year heaviest is decreasing as a result of insufficient funds interm of obtaining large size of land and fertilizerisation of crops.
These problem has overspread to almost all nigeria farmers as a result of lack of adequate proper educational. The problem has overspread to the extent that most farmer doesn't know some strategics on the use of farm equipment.
It's said that no food for a lazy man .A farmer heaviest a small quantity of variety of production not because of small size of landlord. it's because of laziness.
I have witness this practice several times it's highly unacceptable as a farmer, whereby a farmer will heaviest today and tomorrow he or she would cultivate and plant again in thesame land. These practice will effect productivity after a years or two years of replanting.
In conclusion , haven know Meaning of agriculture, importance and types I can't overemphasize the problem of agriculture in Nigeria. The question is how can we solve these problem.

Hmm, I think you may have the wrong idea about this community. We all know what agriculture is. Posts here need to be outdoor adventure focused. This post is borderline suitable but explaining what agriculture isn't really the sort of thing this community is for. If you're a farmer then you could showcase your own farming practices: Planting, harvesting, fertilisation and watering for instance but simply explaining what agriculture doesn't make this a suitable post for this community.
