For the hidden keys, I really don't have many options, nor do many of the people in our region. Our houses/apartments are small, so there aren't many options to hide or leave the keys out somewhere.
Most common thing I see people doing is just carrying an extra key. Let's say you already have a set of keys with you all the time. But you just choose to keep an extra key, the most important one, keep it stashed somewhere, maybe in your wallet/purse whatever. That's mostly how it goes over here.
That's a good option, a master key kept somewhere other than with the main set. It's a better option than none at all.
