I don't have any CNC machines - yet, even though I used to program them for a living. What I mean by "exotic" is that my shop is full of antiques, and I also have things like a mini dividing head with 4NS collets. I've also used (but don't currently own) a rotary-head milling machine, one of the many specialised machines made obsolete by CNC.
I don't know if there's a community for machinists or manufacturing engineers, but I'll be sure to let you know if I find one.
