Hi dear Hive community!
It’s already cold outside and Autumn with it’s moody weather many times forces us to stay bubbled up in the house, drinking hot drinks and listening to awesome music. We must admit sometimes we would like to have only one day of summer in between. Who doesn’t miss hot, sunny summer days and evenings spent outside?
So, the best way to do this is to reflect back and remember this days. Our post is therefore “just a normal summer day”.
So here we go! We woke up always very early. We figured out that we enjoy sticking to our favorite routine. We like to go outside of the house on the terrace to catch some fresh air. With us we take a cup of warm black tea to help us start the day. We like to observe how the valley is waking up, as it’s always initially covered with big thick fog. You can see only the sunny hills that are above this level. It’s so beautiful and we are lucky to have already first sun rays on our face.
The day was perfect for going out. There weren’t a single cloud in the sky until late in the afternoon. We decided to take a short walk just in the nearby nature due to lack of time. We enjoyed a silence and peace, just being mindful to the surrounding - on shape of the trees, all different colored flowers, small animals exploring the ground.
At home we are almost never alone, as we have two gorgeous cats giving us company. I must admit that sometimes they can be really annoying, but mostly they just like to eat and be cuddled. Who can resist when seeing this cute little ball of fur staring in you!
Besides cats we also enjoyed taking care of the small garden, which provided us with the tasty, healthy food every day! We love vegetables!
When it’s a sunny weather we can even choose where we can refresh ourselves. We have at least 4 rivers where we could take a nice swim. From them only one is really warm, but as it’s normally crowded we rather go somewhere else.
Beautiful emerald river Soca is perfect to be around. You get more chilly even looking or putting your feet’s inside the water. We said it’s only for the tourists to enjoy adventures and for the brave ones. We know taking cold and icy baths are very healthy for the body, specially for blood circulation. Maybe we will be brave enough the upcoming summer.
Of course we were looking forward for some nice seaside as well. We spent a lovely weekend with the family on sandy Italian beach.
In the evening we were becoming hungry for some nice, more light food. We prepared some homemade products like salami and cheese. This type of snack is always good choice when having your friends over. And here it ended normally, always in a good company enjoying every small moment.
