Mount Rinjani Climb - Via Post 1 all the way to the top

The Via-Sembalun route is a popular starting point for climbers of Mount Rinjani. The journey from Pos 1 to the top takes approximately 4 days, 3 nights, or 16 hours of climbing.

The essence of our visit to Mount Rinjani is that it is our favorite mountain in Indonesia, particularly for climbers who enjoy the challenge of seeing the beauty of the scenery along the hiking trail...

I'd like to take a closer look; it's an experience you can't put into words...! Of course, you must first experience it. And if you enjoy and enjoy the challenge of climbing, you must prepare physically and mentally well in advance, so that when you do a physical and mental climb, you are ready to make a climb that takes approximately 4 days and 3 nights. This is a very long time. However, if we have physically prepared by regularly exercising 2-3 months before departure, such as jogging, swimming, cycling, and so on. When the climb begins, I guarantee that we will be physically and mentally prepared to face challenges...

When we were above the peak, which has a height of 3,726 masl, we were with friends. This is a strenuous climbing trip that will take several days... Until you reach the summit of Mount Rinjani, that is. You'll learn more about that in our next post, still in this series. In this section, I'm going to make it even easier for us to enjoy because it's been a long hike and I have so many photos I want to show you. Many people don't have the patience to read lengthy posts. For that, I'll summarize a few posts that we should be aware of... Come on, stick with me!

Heading 1 and Heading 2
Heading 1 is located in Mount Rinjani National Park and takes about an hour to traverse the rolling savanna with few trees until the weather is covered with slightly misty white clouds around the hill.
Pos 1 ini terletak sekitar 1.300 meter di atas permukaan laut.

Heading 2 is 1500 Mdpl above sea level, with a slightly uphill track! We can see the journey along post 2 as far as the eye can see. But when he arrived at post 2 the weather was a little sunny and changed drastically. at first, we thought it would rain. because the weather was white clouds, it was rather foggy when we were at post 1, but when we arrived at post 2, it turned out that the weather was sunny again. it only took us an hour and a half to get to this post

Heading 2 - Heading 3
Still, at post 2, we saw a hall that looked like a gazebo as far as the eye could see. but the cloudy weather started to cover again when we were at this post, it looks like a gazebo that climbers usually use to rest. until we continue our journey to post 3.

Heading 3 - Heading 4
We arrived at post 3, climbing. So we see the hill of regret...! We must climb, there are at least 7 other hills that we must pass, before reaching the last pole. But we don’t regret being on this hill. Because all we need is physical strength and mental tenacity to climb Regret Hill and climb to the top.

It’s also very beautiful when you’re on this hill, there are a lot of green trees growing, to make your adrenaline rush up to the top.

We have reached the point where we can enjoy the view of Mount Rinjani with the crater of Lake Segara Anak and Puncak Anjani. But the atmosphere changed radically when we were here because when we were at the top, the atmosphere of the sun was about to go down, but the fatigue paid off with a very beautiful view of the sunset over the tops of Mount Rinjani...

Not a few climbers fail to reach the summit and decide to return in the middle of the trip. In addition to being physically and mentally strong, climbers also need unwavering determination to reach the summit. Because the struggle will be rewarded by the beauty of the panorama presented there.

Thank you for following my journey to the top of Mount Rinjani. With all our friends, we were there at that time, it was our experience when we were at the summit, Lombok Islands, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

@outdoor.life Thank you very much

You're welcome.

What a splendid trip you had! My last mountain climbing was ages ago and I'm definitely not fit for such a trip at high altitude, but reading your post kind of transports me there 😃

Thanks,@erikah This trip made me and several other friends have our own experiences for us every post we went to.
