I think that you have added a very important layer to 3speak that would allow to bring external money to hive and also allow long term return for creators. I think the bottleneck might be to get enough paying advertiser for this. A solution would be to work as an intermediary for platforms like https://bitlabs.ai/ or https://hilltopads.com/. I haven't really researched the sector but I saw these platforms on other sites. There are probably quite a lot of options available. Like that you would have a constant stream of income to monetize the platform in addition to the local advertisers. I think nobody would mind to watch an ad if they earned while doing it...

heyyy yes true true - getting advertisers on board is a challenge that we have accepted and are working on right now :) Thank you for the idea and suggestions and I will look into them. Right now we don't want to cross the Hive/HBD route for many reasons tbh but maybe there is something for us somewhere else - we'll see :)
What would be interesting would be to build a kind of middleman that actually tries to get ads from outside and redirects them to 3speak... I was thinking about that and wondering how it would be possible to do it. That would bring real income from outside.
Another quick message just to tell you that I witnessed my first ad on 3speak. It was an ad shown in the top part of the screen and it passed so fast that it was almost invisible. I would suggest to show such ads that are really not invasive much slower so that people can actually read what they say.
