in HiveDevs6 days ago

Introduction

Vyldo is a next-generation freelancing platform built on the Hive Blockchain. The goal of Vyldo is to create a decentralized, transparent, and secure marketplace where freelancers and clients can work together without high fees, delays, or trust issues.

About Me

Assalamu Alaikum friends, My name is Aftab Irshad and I am web Developer. I am currently working on a web project called Vyldo. I have already built several projects on Hive Blockchain.

What I Have Built with Vyldo So Far

In this post, I will share detailed information about my platform Vyldo, explain what I have built so far, and highlight how this freelancing platform on the Hive Blockchain is designed to grow in the future.

The Idea Behind Vyldo Freelancing Platform

I keep testing to create such platforms. I have created many such platforms to date which I have not made public or posted about. Some of them do not turn out right, and for some I do not find the time to make public. That is, I keep myself busier creating something new than publishing it. I thought of creating a good platform that others could use and benefit from. A platform built on Hive Blockchain that is completely decentralized. It should be transparent and must not compromise on security. Vyldo is the kind of platform that has all these features. Fees are an important part of the work. In fact, this is the purpose of this phase. If it becomes a successful platform in the future, then a team will have to be hired to run it. That means there may be many difficulties in maintaining it, and a team will be needed to check for fraud or similar issues in orders. If it is successful, then we will have to charge a fee because the team needs to be paid. That is why the concept of fees was included. The fee structure is an important part of this work, and it will be explained below in detail.

Let me share as much information as I have created about this platform so far, along with some screenshots so that you can get an idea of its look. I would also like to mention that it has been about 15 to 20 days since I started creating this platform, meaning the data and features I am showing you have been developed by me in the last 15 to 20 days.

If anyone wants to share their opinion about Vyldo—whether in favor or against the platform Vyldo. That clearly mentioned heading is below, be sure to read this section.

First of all, this is the logo of this platform, and in the future, it can be changed, but I don't think I will change it as it looks fine.

The pictures I am sharing below are screenshots of the first page of our website, which means they show the homepage of our platform.

There is a login button on the top right corner of the homepage of our website. By clicking on it, you can log in through Hive Keychain. The Hive Keychain app is available on mobile, and there is also a browser extension for laptops.

You might have guessed from the screenshot of the first page that some pages have already been created and some pages are yet to be created. Now I am giving a screenshot of the second page of our platform Vyldo, BBrowse Gigs.

Screenshot (85).png
You can see how many gigs are available, and you can also narrow them down by field, date, or time. In other words, you can search for what you need, and filters have been applied to make it easier for you to find it.
Screenshot (86).png
Right now, the gigs you see are active demos, which is fine for testing. Once we make this platform live, users will be able to create their own gigs.

Apart from this, another page has been created for your convenience called Explore Categories. On this page, you will see the top categories, and by clicking on a category, you will get all the options related to your field or the field you want to create in. By clicking on it, you will be able to find all the gigs related to that category. All of this has been done for your convenience.

Apart from this, another page has been created called How It Works. On this page, you will find all the details, such as how to use the platform, the fee structure, how to create a gig, how to place an order, and more. Additional information will also be added to this page over time

Screenshot (97).png
Here’s how the fees work on Vyldo. For orders up to 500 HIVE, the fee is 7%, perfect for small projects or when you’re just getting started. Orders between 500 and 1,000 HIVE have a 6% fee, which works well for medium-sized projects. For 1,000 to 2,000 HIVE, the fee drops to 5%, ideal for larger professional projects. And for orders over 2,000 HIVE, the fee is only 4%, giving the best value for bigger projects. Basically, the bigger your project, the smaller the fee percentage, making Vyldo more affordable as you grow.

As soon as you click on the 'Become a Freelancer' button on the top right, you will be taken to the Create Gig page. There, you can write and publish your gig, allowing you to receive orders and start earning from it.

From these many screenshots, you can see that this is not a small platform. Here, users, clients, and freelancers have the ability to create gigs with complete details. You can create a very detailed and professional gig, including all the information that a freelancer would want to include. This is not a simple platform where you can create gigs with full details. As you can see from the screenshots, there are more than 15 to create just one gig. Let me also point out that if I were to write about each feature in detail, it would be too much for this post. As you use the platform, you will understand the features as you use it. It is not practical to write all the details here because this platform is quite large, as you can understand from these screenshots.

After logging in, you will find these pages where you can view your orders and view your profile.

Screenshot (116).png
You will be able to see all your gigs in your profile, edit them, delete them, change your about and secondly, you will get full details about your total orders, your rank and your completed orders in your profile.

There are still a lot of things that I haven’t told you about, like the chat system, which is what freelancers and clients will be able to do on our platform. They will be able to send text messages in the app and explain things to each other. Also, the admin panel is being built and cannot be shared for security reasons. Our team members will be able to check all the details on it, expedite it, or completely suspend someone from the platform for fraud. Secondly, this post is getting quite big, which is why other things haven’t been included in detail. There will be many more posts about this platform because it’s not fully ready yet, and as I continue to build it more, I will keep you updated.

Why you can use Vyldo

In this paid form, when you place an order, the payment will not go directly to the freelancer's account. Instead, it will go to the platform’s @vyldo-escrow account in the Ad Rate Account Payable. As soon as the freelancer fulfills your order or delivers what you requested, our team will manually check it and release the payment to the freelancer. All these payments will be in Hive Tokens, and the platform fee will be deducted accordingly.

Fraud Prevention and User Protection

The Vyldo team will manually check all users and transactions to prevent fraud and scams. If a freelancer tries to scam, Vyldo will refund the client’s payment. Similarly, if a client tries to commit fraud, their account will be suspended from the Vyldo platform. Currently, these measures are in place even though the platform is still being developed. The team will carefully review all the details and make decisions based on a thorough investigation. This process ensures that the chances of scams are reduced and all transactions are fair and secure.

Scope and Features of Vyldo

It is difficult to say how many features will be built for this platform or how much core development is still to be done. However, you can imagine that Vyldo will be developed on a large scale and will include so many features that it can be called a franchise platform. In other words, Vyldo will include all the essential features required for a franchise platform.

Clearly Mention

I want to make it clear that the purpose of creating this platform is not to belittle or compete with any other platform. I created it purely for my educational purposes, and if users like it, they can use it. There is no compulsion for anyone to use it. Even if a similar platform already exists on the Hive blockchain, that's not a problem. This platform is not in competition with others. If it's the second of its kind, that's fine. If it's the first, that's fine too. Even if there are many similar platforms, that's not a problem. My goal is just to create something new. My goal is not to compete with anyone. If others exist, I appreciate them, but I wanted to create something original myself.

Note

To create this platform, I used Visual Studio as the editor because I am somewhat experienced with it. Actually, any editor can be used, but using Visual Studio helps me gain more experience.

My Experience

In the screenshot above, you can see that the files that have been created for this platform so far are not few - they are quite numerous. Each file has several lines, each line has several words, and each word has letters. Creating a platform is not easy. It requires a lot of knowledge, and even one mistake can affect the entire platform.
Everything you see was written, revised, and reviewed by my hands many times. There are many challenges that take a whole day to solve. Don't think that this was done quickly or that this is some kind of game. I really worked very hard on it and learned a lot, and believe me, I tried very hard. I am also working on it

Please share your thoughts in the comments. Let me know what you think about this platform, which features it should have, or if there are any mistakes in what has been explained. If you believe something could be done differently or that a certain feature should be added, be sure to tell me. I would love to hear your opinion about this platform.
