What's new in this Release?
- Added support for Hive Communities. Now, Creators can select up to 10 Communities that best match the media that they like to publish (or have auto-imported from spotify, youtube, odysee, podbean, etc) on their channel. Hive-Tube will rotate through each of those selections one at a time with each post that the Creator publishes to their platform of choice. If the Creator wants to override their channel Community selections, there is now also an "override" feature so that Creators can select a different Community for their media upload.
- Creators who like to publish their media with Wordpress would sometimes get strange codes inserted into their video/podcast titles from Wordpress such as
&instead of the actual ampersand (&). Hive-Tube now traps for that and converts to the proper characters automatically. - Made it so that when selecting a Hive Community and you switch between tabs during a Publish, it will cache your Community selection(s) when switching back to the main Publish screen and alphabetize them for you (instead of "hmmmm, did I already select a Community for this post?").
- Now it always shows your selections right there at the top of the list of Communities without a page refresh or having to click the Publish button at the bottom first. UX is everything.
- Added the Community override feature to the "Import with URL" tab for Publishing.
- Added a feature that will round up to 0.01 the visible hive rewards on a post if it has >0 upvotes, even if the post gets downvoted to less than 0.01, it will show 0.01 instead of a big fat zero of 0.00. We've noticed that some people do not want to upvote a post anymore if it got downvoted to 0.00, or, to even upvote a post at all if it still says 0.00 (only minnows upvoted it so far). Anyway, just a bit of psychology mixed with UX there. Hope it helps the Creators out a bit.
- On the /about page of Hive-Tube sites, we've noticed that sometimes the Hive-Tube version number would not show at the top and the number of Hive comments would not show at the bottom unless you refresh the page. The issue was intermittent so we just tweaked the routing a bit and now that UI glitch seems to be fixed.

I've been thinking about setting up a PeerTube server. Does one get better performance from a desktop server or a laptop? Does it matter?

Transcoding takes up cpu time and streaming out requires beefy bandwidth. Unkle Bonehead has experienced this already on a local machine basis, he might have better answers. We use off-site dedicated nodes for CastGarden though :)
