Good to hear, I've been waiting for some of these changes for several years.
Can this curation rewards post have the 50/50 split applied and the same ratios be accurate?
To address @smooth's concern, I would suggest that the 4 post soft limit on rewards return in some way.
Once x number of posts have been made then rewards are reduced by an increasing penalty.
This can limit bots from massively flooding the chain, yes?
At least putting a top on rewards from the attack?
If we can find from the data, that this chain consists of, what a bot looks like, then perhaps an algorithm can be devised where only edge cases will be impacted, and they can be addressed by whitelisting, or what not.
Any authors can learn that this is the new reward normal and adjust.
Just as we did when the 4 post soft cap was in place.
Most 'normal' users don't create spam bot levels of content.
Math can solve this, imo.
Perhaps we could set the target of the curve to something more reasonable, like 1mv?
Reducing the value of a much smaller segment of the community, while incentivizing powering up all rewards until the account has 1mv.
