HIVE Reader Mini was created for this simple and genuine need.
It’s not a feature-heavy super app, but a lightweight tool focused purely on reading.
The Idea Behind It
We wanted to create a zero-pressure browsing experience.
Here, you don’t need to remember passwords, worry about misclicks, or deal with a cluttered interface.
Just enter a username, and you can start a clean and effortless reading journey.

Even though it’s a small tool, we’ve tried to make the reading experience as smooth as possible:

On-chain activity can be messy.
We categorize it (social interactions, rewards, transfers, etc.) so you can quickly understand what’s been happening.

We filter out complex low-level data and present your transactions in a more intuitive, statement-like format, making every movement of funds easy to follow.
🌐 Stay Connected with Your Communities
Browse the communities you follow and see what people are discussing.
🚪 Explore Freely
The search bar acts like a “portal”—just enter any username (e.g., @username) and instantly visit their public profile.
Why Does It “Do Nothing”?
To keep things simple and secure, we intentionally removed features.
This tool does not support:
- ❌ Posting, liking, or commenting
- ❌ Transfers or any financial operations
- ❌ Login (it will never ask for passwords or private keys)
Because it “does nothing,” it becomes extremely safe and distraction-free.
Think of it as a transparent window into the Hive world.
A Few Small Customizations
Everyone has different reading habits and network conditions.
In the top-right settings, you can adjust how many posts or activities load each time, so the experience better fits your preferences.
About Your Privacy
All data displayed in HIVE Reader Mini comes directly from public information on the Hive blockchain.
It simply reorganizes and presents that data in a cleaner way.
We do not collect, track, or store any personal or sensitive user data.
Final Thoughts
HIVE Reader Mini is not meant to replace full-featured applications.
It’s more like a glass of water, or a bench on a quiet street corner.
When you just want to read in peace, we hope it offers a bit of simplicity and calm.
We will continue to improve and refine this still-evolving version, making it better over time while keeping its lightweight nature.
I really like this minimalist design.
It's a little confusing that it's in two languages at once instead of letting users choose.
In the “General” settings section, the labels are only in Chinese.
I'd like a dark mode version. Thanks for creating this.
