Project Update

List of current projects being worked on by the Guilty Parties team:

Full Node

This is currently replaying for the second time because of issues with the datacenter in Germany. It's currently at approximately 50% there. It's a MIRA and once replayed we'll monitor it for a period of time before either allowing public access or donating access to key projects. It's purpose is to expand the ecosystem (obviously one node out of the ones currently running).

Onboarding: Hive.Blue

The verification process does take some time and we still aren't at 72 hour turnaround goal yet. We are still flooded with users mistakenly submitting for accounts they already have. Translations are still needed and are getting an update this week. The site is getting an update too since as you know, it's got no header or footer right now.

Dependencies & OS

Our priority is making sure that the dependencies that we need for the anti-abuse projects are working. Where we beat the original devs to a fix we'll OS it. Also in OS news, you may see some tools becoming OS this coming week or two.

Anti-Abuse

Spaminator is at 100% completion now and was the first project to be transferred over to Hive from us. Because of how advance the framework is, the migration actually took a few minutes. Spaminator is key in preventing reward pool exploitation.

Hivewatchers are about 70% there. The site accepts reports for Hive and allows them to be processed. The blacklist is currently set to manual mode and to the end user works as intended. The only thing that still needs to be addressed is the dependency (Hivewatchers is a Ruby application) and functionality without delegation. Remember that Hivewatchers deals with fraud primarily and everything that is on its blacklist is fairly serious. We'll have more of an update on Hivewatchers soon because it is in the end a cross-team project and we still need to touch base and coordinate.

Plenty of Phish and Account Recoveries has been split in two between Steem and Hive. We can't be petty and not provide any services for the poor users left on Steem who may get phished or hacked. We have someone handling it on the Steem side and I am still assisting with account recoveries myself. Anyone who gets hacked or phished on either blockchain would do well to report over to me and I'll help you the best I can.

This isn't a complete list by far but the plan for the week.

I'll do another update later on. Your support for the @guiltyparties witness is appreciated as its earnings go to pay for infrastructure costs and other fees.
