I would encourage keeping all the HBD and selling it at the higher rate and giving everyone a BUFFER for if things get unfunded again. So if you get your HBD while valued at $2 for a month perhaps that gives us a 1 month buffer? It MAY go back to it's peg after the HF so let's take advantage of this time to create a bit of a buffer.

Interesting idea. What you are proposing could indeed be a solution, but it also brings its share of problems.
This whole story sheds light on the difficulty of having a stable and serene service financing environment when it is based on an unstable means of payment.
This is something that I hope I can write more about in the next few days.
I thought i already stated my proposal. Just cash out HBD at the higher rates and anything about $1 you count as extra time the HiveSQL for free lasts. See how people feel about it i guess and if they'll continue to vote your proposal since you're changing the terms of sort. But my guess is people will be even more interested.
