RE: 6th update of 2022 on BlockTrades work on Hive software

It's great to see you guys continue to make improvements to the infrastructure (though I barely understand them, admittedly).

What's the long term game plan for these improvements? Is it that eventually the Hive ecosystem will become so appealing devs won't be able to resist?

A longer view, non-technical post describing the ultimate vision would be much appreciated!

Thanks for all the work you and your team do for Hive.

The long term goal of many of the changes is to make Hive the most attractive blockchain for app development. This means making it very fast, very resilient, easy to develop with, and able to scale with increasing usage.

Does HF26 complete most of these objectives?

About 90%. There's still one important piece I want to add, which is a smart contract processor optimized to run on top of HAF (this is the new framework for creating scalable Hive apps). But there's already a couple of smart contract platforms on Hive (hive-engine and dlux) which could be used with HAF now.
