Today I spent my entire Sunday exploring some of the new things Google recently launched with Gemini. Since the hive.io website is currently under construction and being improved step by step, I thought... why not try to contribute a little something myself?
I went to the Google AI Studio at https://aistudio.google.com
and at first, I only wanted to ask the AI agent to animate the HIVE logo. I had the logo as an SVG file and thought it would be a simple request. But while playing around, I realized how much fun it was to experiment with these AI tools. And instead of just one animation, I wanted a tool that could do more.
So I asked the AI to build me a simple online tool where I could upload any SVG file, and it would automatically detect all the individual layers of that SVG. Then I could choose animations for each layer separately. What came out was honestly more than I expected. The AI created a fully working online tool that lets me upload SVGs, assign animations to parts of them, and then export the whole thing.

When I got to the export part, I had an idea. Since I often build websites with WordPress, I told the AI that I would love to get the final result as HTML and CSS code. That way, I could easily copy and paste the animated SVG into any website I build. And yes... it worked really well.

Here you can take a look at the three animated logos I created so far. One is for hive.io, another for @peakd, and the third one for @ecency. I really enjoyed making them and learned a lot along the way.

Let me know what you think! Would you like to see an animated logo on your site too? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
That looks pretty neat!
It's kind of crazy just how good some of this AI is getting. It's basically making so many things accessible to the average person. It feels similar to other technologies that kind of just started as a novelty and then when they matured really came into their own.
Nice work!
