I am on Hive since the Steem era and recently launched a new game, MydEmpire
I intentionally avoided using my main account with 3k+ followers and 70+ reputation. Instead, I chose to build the game using completely new accounts from scratch.
The initial growth may be slower this way, but for me it feels like the right long-term strategy. Of course, it can be different for others.

I think that's a more clean approach to it. And for bigger projects with identity that makes sense.
In my case I am not sure the project will expand into something very big, thus I prefer linking any content to it to my current account and reputation.
