Advanced Proposal Stats and Breakdown

Peak Projects (5).png

With our DHF proposal we want to deliver new cool projects for the Hive ecosystem. But at the same time, one of our goal is to support and improve products and projects that we already delivered. In this case this is an upgrade to TWO projects we already delivered and are making upgrades to.

These upgrades will hopefully be useful for everyone involved in Hive governance.

STATS FOR PROPOSALS

The HIVE OPEN STATS project (by @peak.open projects) has created an API that any site can use to display information about the Hive Proposal system (DHF).

  • How much each proposal has been paid out
  • Number of accounts voting on each proposal
  • Breakdown of voting accounts by Hive Power ranges
  • Breakdown of total vote power by Hive Power ranges
(In short to see how many large accounts, medium accounts and small accounts support different projects)

OUR INTEGRATION

Peak Open Projects also was the first (of hopefully many) to integrate the stats into one of our own projects HIVEHUB.DEV
https://hivehub.dev/proposals

TOTAL PAID COLUMN

The proposal table has now a new column to show the total that has been paid to each proposal.
_Remember any project that shows proposals is welcome to use the API to display this information... and we invite anyone to double check the math/API/Code.

BASE STATS (ADVANCED VIEW)

You can now toggle between simple and an advanced view of the table. The advanced view shows some basic stats related to the votes breakdown: how many people voted and the total of their Hive power for some specific ranges.

OUR TAKE - A PIE GRAPH

The last but not least feature is a more detailed distribution of votes by Hive Power ranges and by voters' Hive Power, shown in two interactive doughnut charts and a table to recap the bands and numbers used in the API.

We have a high vote count and a comparatively high proportion of votes coming from non whales.
We would like to thank @blocktrades and @stoodkev for their valuable votes. As we release more and more open source projects that are valuable to the Hive ecosystem and are maintained and we fight to integrate them to more and more sites we believe that the proposal will continue to get votes.
