Hive Badges are badges created by the Hive community that can be implemented into any UI
Automated Badges are built on open source software anyone can use and adapt for their own badges.
LEVELS FOR STAKED HIVE
The @peak.open team has created many automated badges and is now created a new class of automated badges based on Core Hive Blockchain stats. This time it's a badge to represent Stake Hive holdings (HP). The @PeakD team has already implemented them into their website! Starting today, these badges will appear on usersโ profiles, proudly showcasing their Staked Hive aka Hive Power (HP)
We hope this starts a trend of automated badges that represent provable aspects of a person's account.
ABOUT THE BEE BADGES
Each badge is inspired by a unique type of bee (or it's cousin the wasp... aka social Hive/nest builders). Similar to what Hive Power does on Hive blogging sites this set of automated badges will reflect user influence and strength within the Hive ecosystem.
Like Minnow to Whales? Similar to the common ocean creature level system used in other blockchains these badges offer a cool way for Hive to recognize and celebrate your contribution to the Hive blockchain. A naming level system that can be uniquely Hive's.
Hereโs a breakdown of the badge levels:
Worker Bee: 2.5k - 5k HP
Diligent and hardworking, the Worker Bee is the backbone of the hive, always busy collecting and building.
Honey Bee: 5k - 15k HP
The Honey Bee is the most recognizable and symbolizes sweetness and productivity, tirelessly working to sustain the hive with its golden rewards.
Bumblebee: 15k - 50k HP
The Bumblebee, larger and more resilient, thrives with purpose, its seemingly happy buzzing presence is impossible to ignore.
Yellowjacket: 50k - 200k HP
Fast and fierce, the Yellowjacket is quick to defend the hive, bringing an edge of power and agility.
Giant Hornet: 200k - 1M HP
Commanding and imposing, the Giant Hornet strikes fear with its size and strength.
Killer Bee: 1M - 5M HP
A force to be reckoned with, the Killer Bee is both feared and admired for its relentless energy and power.
Queen Bee: 5M+ HP
Regal and unmatched, the Queen Bee is a status of achievement and greatness.
We wanted the badge designs to reflect the energy and purpose of each bee type while keeping them fun, clean, and impactful. Every badge is inspired by the unique traits of its namesake, blending semi-realistic style with vibrant colors to stand out on your profile.
USE ON HIVE
Each of these badges will be automatically connected to users. Since Hive badges are meant for decentralized usage every Hive app/website is able to easily connect them to users and display them. Since they are automated and based on Blockchain information they will just automatically update. Remember: The more HP you hold, the more powerful your badge becomes!
Again it should be noted PeakD.com will be displaying them uniquely on user profiles right at the launch of the badges.

Do they get removed when you power down?
They are assigned/unassigned based on your HP at the moment of the check.
The server scan every x time the HP and assigns/unassigns the relative badge.
This gives me extra motivation to reach 2,5k HP

Queen Bee ๐๐ is the goal!
Gamification could end up influencing more users to buy more HIVE to reach the next level or keep their account Powered Up to keep their status. Add in the HIVE-Engine and we have a very cool system. Giving players a notification with a fancy animation for reaching specific milestones could make a difference.
