The philosophy of Hivecomb is keeping it simple. By default there's no vote power slider, no downvotes, no rewards shown.
Some of these things are important for curators though. As the founder of @curangel that's something close to my heart, so it didn't take @dlmmqb long to convince me to add a curation mode.

When you're logged in, go to settings -> advanced. Activate manual voting to get the option for curation mode. Once that's activated, there will be an additional filters row, allowing you to filter by post age, amount of votes and rewards on posts.
This way, the site stays slick and simple for the casual reader and still provides options for power users.

What does the negative and it's number mean? I checked the account and it doesn't have a negative rep nor are there any downvotes on the post. Thanks
It means the AI considers this post is negative vibes and ranks it.
Let's say, u photograph a bird in sky
It will rank it 3 positive
If it's in a cage, it can rank it as -0.1 negative
(Just a random example with random numbers)
Mmmm... Is that appropriate for curation? I see quite a few posts labelled as negative but on the surface there's nothing wrong with them ie I haven't checked for abuse etc.
Labelling legit posts as negative may create the wrong impression for curators
A war post will be labelled as negative as it's labelling the topic not the content
While a diy post would be labelled as positive
Some people wanna see only positivity ignoring all war posts or violence, animal eating etc
It's just an AI model labelling things.
AS FAR AS I KNOW
Thank you for this philosophy!
I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work on this. It’s really good stuff!
I really like the idea of keeping things simple, especially for new users. Removing distractions can help people focus more on content and connection. At the same time, adding a curation mode is a smart move. It balances simplicity and functionality, making the platform more useful for both beginners and experienced curators.
