Hola, mi gente creativa, talentosa e innovadora de este asombroso ecosistema #Hive. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, llenos de salud y con las energías al máximo. Estoy convencida de que la creencia en que sí podemos lograr nuestros sueños y anhelos generan un maravilloso porvenir lleno de oportunidades. Por ello, los animo a tornar las creencias limitantes que obstaculizan su avance, convirtiéndolas en potenciadoras, ya que somos seres talentosos y con grandes virtudes. Hoy, precisamente, comparto con ustedes una experiencia espectacular que viví al participar en el fabuloso Programa El Placer de Leer. Este proyecto, enfocado en formar a promotores y animadores de lectura, cuenta con la guía de la profesora Leída Laya, una profesional con ideas geniales que te inspiran a empoderarte en el fascinante mundo de las letras, impulsando el amor por la lectura sin límites. Además, dicho programa es patrocinado por la Fundación Empresas Polar y el certificado es conferido por la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). Cada experiencia fue única e insuperable. Se apreció en los diversos stands producciones con una gran variedad de matices, llenos de talento, creencias, originalidad y diversión. Finalmente, quiero decirles que creo en los valores que mi padre me inculcó y en la certeza de que mi potencialidad y fuerza de voluntad son imparables.

I am convinced that believing we can achieve our dreams and desires creates a wonderful future full of opportunities. That is why I encourage you to transform the limiting beliefs that hinder your progress into empowering ones, because we are talented beings with great virtues. Today, I would like to share with you a spectacular experience I had when I participated in the fabulous El Placer de Leer (The Joy of Reading) Program. This project, focused on training reading promoters and animators, is guided by Professor Leída Laya, a professional with brilliant ideas that inspire you to empower yourself in the fascinating world of letters, promoting a boundless love of reading. In addition, this program is sponsored by the Fundación Empresas Polar and the certificate is awarded by the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). Each experience was unique and unbeatable. The various stands showcased productions with a wide variety of nuances, full of talent, beliefs, originality, and fun. Finally, I want to tell you that I believe in the values my father instilled in me and in the certainty that my potential and willpower are unstoppable.

El placer de leer despierta el artista que hiberna en nuestro ser. Por esta razón, quiero compartirles un poco sobre esta espléndida experiencia. Cada clase nos enseñó que, como docentes, tenemos a nuestra disposición una amplia gama de métodos para enriquecer los ambientes de aprendizaje. En efecto, no se trata solo de llenar una pizarra con contenido, sino de contar con un interesante repertorio de estrategias que podemos diseñar y desarrollar. La idea es innovar para dar a conocer al mundo la maravillosa labor de la docencia.

Each class taught us that, as teachers, we have a wide range of methods at our disposal to enrich learning environments. The idea is to innovate in order to show the world the wonderful work of teaching.

Fue por ello que hoy les hablaré sobre el Módulo II: Estrategias y recursos para la animación de la lectura. Este módulo fue sensacional, ya que una de las actividades consistía en elaborar recursos para la animación del hábito lector. El objetivo era captar la atención y el interés de los estudiantes, entusiasmándolos a descubrir la dicha de leer. Como parte de ello, creamos hermosos y coloridos marcalibros, junto a una varita mágica, pues una de las actividades incluía conjuros y sortilegios. Fue aquí donde tuve la oportunidad de redactar una especie de deseo, afirmación o decreto, de mi propia autoría, el cual dice: "Reunidos en este lugar, con libros y café, con un solo anhelo, compartir el placer de leer. Cada historia, un puente que nos une, y en la lectura, la amistad hoy se reúne. Entre risa y carcajada leemos sin parar, siempre de las manos de Dios caminamos sin temor. Les deseo a todos un día lleno de bendición”.

This module was sensational, as one of the activities consisted of developing resources to encourage reading habits. The aim was to capture the attention and interest of students, encouraging them to discover the joy of reading. As part of this, we created beautiful and colorful bookmarks, along with a magic wand, as one of the activities included spells and incantations. It was here that I had the opportunity to write a kind of wish, affirmation, or decree of my own, which reads: "Gathered in this place, with books and coffee, with a single desire, to share the pleasure of reading. Each story is a bridge that unites us, and in reading, friendship comes together today. Between laughter and guffaws, we read without stopping, always walking fearlessly in God's hands. I wish you all a day full of blessings."

Asimismo, teníamos que llevar accesorios o vestuarios de "hora loca", tales como sombreros de hadas o de brujas, pelucas, lentes, bufandas, pañoletas, collares, entre otros. Yo me puse un sombrerito de muñeca muy tierno y un adorno hawaiano, de esta manera me uní a la diversión.

Por otro lado, había una entretenida actividad que consistía en representar a nuestro personaje favorito. Para este desafío, teníamos que usar nuestra creatividad e imaginación para seleccionar a un personaje de un cuento o historia, o a cualquier otro héroe de nuestra preferencia, y crear un afiche. Para esta tarea, realicé un dibujo de mi padre y un monólogo que titulé: "El Maestro Tony, Mi Héroe de la calle El Samán".

On the other hand, there was an entertaining activity that consisted of representing our favorite character. For this challenge, we had to use our creativity and imagination to select a character from a story or tale, or any other hero of our choice, and create a poster. Fue precisamente gracias al Programa El Placer de Leer que pude dedicar unas emotivas y profundas palabras a mi padre, a través de ese monólogo de un valor incalculable.

En la esquina de la calle Esperanza y El Samán.
En la comunidad de Ali Primera, vivía mi héroe.
No llevaba capa ni tenía súper poderes,
Pero su corazón latía con una fuerza
Que iluminaba a todos con su grandeza.
Su sonrisa, era un sol que iluminaba,
Lucio Antonio Figueroa, así lo llamaban.
El Maestro Tony, mi guía, mi mentor,
Su nombre era sinónimo de luz, confianza y honor.
Andaba en bicicleta, era un fiel compañero.
Cuatro campanadas, un silbido melodioso,
Anunciaban su llegada, victorioso.
Y en mi corazón, una alegría desbordante,
Un amor eterno, siempre palpitante.
En Ali Primera, su pasión encendió,
En Amparo Monroy, su huella dejó.
Con paciencia y amor, sus mentes nutrió,
Un taller de sueños, donde la vida brotó.
Plomería, electricidad, un don que compartió,
Haciendo realidad, lo que el corazón pidió.
Sembrando en sus almas, la semilla del bien,
Inspirando a muchos, a crecer y a creer
Un dibujante experto, un locutor de voz,
El azul su color, los caballos su pasión.
De día enseñaba, de noche estudiaba,
Y también vendía los mejores perros calientes de Cagua. .

Maestro Tony: My hero from El Samán Street
On the corner of Esperanza Street and El Samán Street.
My hero lived in the Ali Primera community.
He didn't wear a cape or have superpowers,
But his heart beat with a strength
That illuminated everyone with its greatness.
His smile was like a shining sun.
Lucio Antonio Figueroa, that's what they called him.
Maestro Tony, my guide, my mentor,
His name was synonymous with light, trust, and honor.
He rode his bike, he was a faithful companion.
Four chimes, a melodious whistle,
Announced his arrival, victorious.
And in my heart, an overflowing joy,
An eternal love, always beating.
In Ali Primera, his passion ignited,
In Amparo Monroy, he left his mark.
With patience and love, he nurtured their minds,
A workshop of dreams, where life blossomed.
Plumbing, electricity, a gift he shared,
Making reality what the heart desired.
Sowing in their souls the seed of goodness,
Inspiring many to grow and believe.
An expert draftsman, a voice broadcaster,
Blue his color, horses his passion.
By day he taught, by night he studied,
And he also sold the best hot dogs in Cagua.
From him I learned the value of humility,
The love of education, a great truth.
His smile, a balm on my heart,
His embrace, my safest corner.
With him I learned to dream, to create,
