That sounds pretty cool! What a nice piece too. I've always thought it would be cool to do something like that. We have some pretty special stones in Michigan that I go hunting for sometimes.

What kind of stones do they have up there?
Petoskey Stones
Lake Superior Agates
and
Yooperlites
Those are nice! Those agates are pretty, and that fossilized corral is awesome. I had a friend in New Mexico with a fossilized reef on her property, I have lots of those still! The yooperlites look great too. Are they abundant and easy to find or is a bit of challenge?
I've found Petoskey stones when I was a kid. I've never looked for the other ones. We have plenty of shoreline to look though.
