Another Weekend, Another #SaturdaySavers post
Here we are on this Saturday night, as usual I use night time to write and publish my posts. I am not sure what to write today, regarding too many things demand my attention right now. We are having Indonesia Independent Day, so people want all things to be done before it. The result is that my workload suddenly spike up again.
So I won't make something good or detail here, I want to share something about Car Wash. I just had my car washed earlier today, I could not wash mine right now, due to some health condition. So I Just took it to local car wash depot here.
I spent 40k Rupiah for the service, then gave those guy 10k Rupiah as the tips. So I spent 50k Rupiah for washing my car. This place is one of the cheapest here with a good reputation. Some car washing depot are cheap too but they do not have good reputation.
Anyway how much is 50k Rupiah anyway? here what you can google to find out:
Around $3, thats the right answer. OK now what's with this car wash have to do with things we do on Hive Blockchain?
Well it's start with a conversation between me and some friends on Hive. Some of them asked why I do keep powering up, why do I keep buying $HIVE when people have started leaving this place? There is a question about how I believe the HIVE will pump again so I keep buy them?
Honestly I do not have any answer for any of those. So my answer is the same as washing my car.
I do not like my car, it's a car that my dad bragged and kept scolding me to get it. And I hated it in the past. It was not cheap, It's a bit demanding in term of maintenance, all it's sparepart are expensive. Despite all the thing I hate, I still take care my car because I need it. I need my car to enable me making my living. It's the last thing I have after I have sold everything from houses, apartments, gold, silver, and even NBA basketball cards just to get cash to maintain people live during Covid-19 era.
I need to take care it, because if it's gone, I would not be able to go to work, meet client, delivery tools and equipment, and many more. Oh ya, I could replace it with a motorcycle right? hell no, it is not because of I dislike bike, I travel everyday to several places and it takes around 150-200km, could I do that by riding a bike?
So back to HIVE. Whether you hate it or you love it with any kind of reasons, do you plan to stay on HIVE? if you do, what do you do to maintain your account? what do you do to improve your account? Or you see HIVE only as a place where you can make post and get money, and take all?
Well, I do not like take-take or take all mentality, however it doesn't mean I will hunt those people down by Downvoting them. Hive is decentralized so there is no absolute right or absolute wrong, so you can do what as you wish and so the other. So I can not say it's wrong to that take-take or take-all mentality.
The same to me, I do not have the final say to tell people you need to power up, from some perspective that might be a dumb move too. But I will keep my HP on and keep growing it because I have long term plan on staying here.
Car wash is not only to make your car clean and look neat, it can help maintaining the paint, prevent rust and corrosion which ultimately prolong the life of the car... And that's why I keep powering up my HP... because I take that the same as washing my car.
I never say I will be the WHALE right? In past I kept saying I would be a HIVE dolphin and I achieved that... Have I said anything about aiming to be an Orca?
So I will keep powering up my HP as the same as I keep washing my car regularly... because I see that is similar to some necessity. I guess I have car wash mentality on Hive here LOL
MY HIVE GOALS : HIVE POWER (HP)
My primary goal is to grow my Hive Power as good as possible. A goal must have a target so I have decided that my primary goal is to reach 11.500 Hive Power (HP).
My goal is to have 11.500 HP this year, not an easy one but of course it is very possible. Let's start this one by checking my HP Growth recap right now:
I had a bad two first quarters this year, which both quarters were not ended as I planned. The result is that I need more than 2.000 HP growth for each remaining quarters this year if I really want to achieve my target of 11.500 HP. I think this is the time to start catching up that big gap.
This is the first time in this quarter I see a green light in my monitoring table. This week I have gained 170 HP and that breaches my get weekly target which is 169 HP.
You are expecting I am writing thing about powering up as a habit but not do any powering up right?
I know I won't be able to do regular 100+ HP power up every week, but with the HIVE price is so low right now, I think I need to do this now or never... This won't solve everything but will be a good start to make a come back in chasing up the gap.
THE HBD (HIVE BACKED DOLLAR)
I have 76 $HBD and ready to sell them. I think I waste some opportunity because I keep waiting HIVE to get as low as it can, and I guess I lose that opportunity. Atleast I do not lose money, just losing an opportunity to sell at bottom.
Anyway none knows for sure whether last week was the real bottom or not.
Anyway I sell 23,673 $HBD earlier to get 125 Hive. That's the number I needed to do some power up today. So how do you think, do I make a good move or not? 23,673 HBD for 125 HIVE...
Soon I will sell that 76 $HBD too, and I keep withdrawing my $HBD savings.
MY SECONDARY TARGET : SECOND LAYER TOKENS ~ LEO
My secondary saving targets are HIVE second layer tokens, and at this moment my secondary saving target is $LEO token and my goal this year is to get 1.000 LEO Power (LP). LP stands the same as Hive Power (HP), which means the staked $LEO.

I do not think I will get 59 $LEO organically by posting and curating only, so I will have to buy some from Hive Engine too. The question will be when I buy them, during the day of LPUD or some days before? Let see next #saturdaysavers post then.

En cuanto a la propuesta de ahorro me parece interesante, tanto como la propuesta de fortalecer su Hivepower, me gustaría aprender mucho más respecto a estos temas, porque tengo algunos años en hive blog, sin comprender muy bien conceptos como el stacking y otros, que he leído ayudan a maximizar nuestras ganancias.
