RE: Rewarding Repetitive or Bot-Command-Only Comments in the FreeCompliments Community

Keep in mind that any total payout less than 0.02 (dust votes) is zeroed and no curation or author reward is paid at the 7-day mark. Many users engage with various services that will bump any comment with dust over the 0.02 threshold, but not all.

It may be worthwhile to review the decision in a few weeks and determine what curation is being earned on these dust votes. Users with dust prevention services may outnumber users without, and you could breakeven, but more likely most vote value provided on these comments will result in a total loss of curation value from the votes.

This was exactly what I thought about. I have taken measures to secure the threshold on my posts with HSBI but I haven't dug into the dust on comments. How does a user access dust prevention?
