Hey everyone, today was a bit chilly. As soon as I woke up, I remembered the pile of laundry that had been piling up I hadn't done it in ages π I was stressing about it, so I had a cup of chai and breakfast first. I gave Sherz his tea, and he left for work with his tiffin.
Then I got all the clothes together and started washing. It took me 3 hours, and I was freezing by the end I was basically a one woman laundry machine π. After finishing, I had a cup of chai and took a Panadol for my sore muscles. I went to freshen up, and next thing I knew, I was snoozing under a blanket
Later, I called Sherz and asked him to pick up jalebi and bhughra on his way home. He said, Sure, I'll get it. Now, waiting for his surprise π Do you guys like jalebi and bhughra
After that, I had a craving for more jalebi I love them and they're extra delicious in winter π΄ So, I headed to the kitchen to make myself another cup of chai.
As I was sipping it, I thought about what to make for dinner. I had chicken in the fridge, and I decided to make Sherz's favorite chicken karahi.
When Sherz came home, it was evening, and he brought everything I asked for.
He joked, Amara isn't here, that's why you've done so much work today, and she didn't even fuss! π I had actually taken Amara to her grandparents' place, so it was a bit easier for me. Plus, her feeder was with me, so that was a big help
After dinner, I settled into the room and thought I'd watch some TV.
I turned it on, and guess what was on? Tom and Jerryπ±π Amara was happily munching on jalebi while watching them. It was so cute! What do you guys like to watch
Sherz came home saying, Why didn't you bring Amara Go get her now, my little doll is missing π I went to pick her up, and when she saw me, she started crying, wanting hugs and kisses. I gave her a big hug and kiss, saying, Mama was gone for a bit, sorry baby. She was still a bit upset, like she was hurt that I left her for so long.
I told my sister-in-law that I was heading back, and Sherz was sitting at home, so she said, Have some chai first. I said, No, I'm just going. Sherz stood up, took Amara, and told her what happened. He was chuckling and saying, You got left, little one You shouldn't leave me like that Amara was still snuggling me, not wanting to let go π. Do you think Amara's mad at me
He also brought saag, and we sat together to eat. He had some, and Amara munched on chips and a string bottle. Alhamdulillah, it was a lovely, happy family time π. Family moments like these are the best How was your day, everyone
