TOPIC: IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME

📖 TODAY'S TEXT:

2 Kings 4:15-17; Genesis 18:10-15

🔑 KEY VERSE:

At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son" (Genesis 10:14, KJV).

🖊️ COMMENTARY:

In life, when you stretch forth your hands to bless a servant of God, God would definitely bless you. When you assist someone in life, God would also assist you. Furthermore, when you help somebody at his critical time of need, God would also help and honour you at the appointed time. God has His fulness of time to bless His children. Be patient and open your heart to God, He would never fail or disappoint you. May you be among the blessed people today as you go about your daily activities.

The Shunamite woman was a wealthy person; having everything at her disposal but she had no child. This happened at a time when Elisha and his servant, Gehazi, were going to Mount Carmel. However, the Shunamite woman and her husband accommodated Elisha and took proper care of him. In return Elisha pronounced a prophetic word to the woman that by "this time next year, she shall have a son." At the appointed time promised, God blessed them with a son.

Abraham was a man of faith and integrity but he had no child. One day the angels of God stood by him, perceiving that they were not just human passing by, he requested they abode in his house, and mandated Sarah, to prepare them a fine meal and were so entertained. A prophetic word was released to them that according to the time of life, Sarah would bear him a son. We must know that whenever you make any sacrifice unto God, you must definitely reap the dividend of that sacrifice. At the exact time specified, God blessed Abraham with Isaac. Is there anything too hard for God? Wait patiently for God to fulfill His promises concerning your life.
