Psalm 122: 1-9

Thus says the Lord God, This is Jerusalem; in the center of the nations I have set her, and countries are round
about her" (Ezekiel 5:5).
ποΈ COMMENTARY
The late Afro beat king, Fela A. Kuti in one of his hit songs celebrated Africa as the center of the world. There is no dispute about that talking geographically. It is also unarguable that the United States of America is the center of the world economically and technologically. But, when it comes to the spiritual, the invisible force that controls global politics, future and economics, the center is located in the tiny country of Israel in
its capital called Jerusalem.
From ancient times, the God who created the universe said concerning Jerusalem that "all nations shall flow to it... for out of Zion shall go forth the law and instruction" (Isaiah 2:2-3). Is it any wonder that the Psalmist left us this beautiful counsel: "Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee" (Ps 122:6)?
Join multiplied millions of Jerusalem lovers worldwide today to pray for her peace, saying, "peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy places." (v. 7). As you do so, be assured by the integrity of God's surety of His word that you shall prosper in whatever you set your heart and hand to do. Pray now!
