INTRODUCTION
In Cartography, Atlas is a collection of maps, usually bound together in a book or digital format, often focusing on a specific region or theme.
In marriage which we are going to explore, it is an acronym of letters of important meanings.
1. ADJUSTMENT:
Two different persons to become one. This cannot work without a proper adjustment.
2. TOLERANCE:
There must be room for tolerance. The two persons must study each other for this union to last. You can never adjust without tolerance.
3. LOVE:
You must put love 'to each other' as a cement that will be at the center of the marriage. This love must come from both persons (both man and woman). I somehow skeptic to the injunction "man love your wife and woman obey your husband". Love should be from each other.
4. ASPIRATION:
The man has his your own aspirations. The woman has her own aspirations too. You must adjust yourselves to a compromise.
5. SUBMISSION:
Ephesians 5:21 "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God". This is the biblical injunction on submission in marriage.
Submitting to one another.
So, submission and love must be both husband and wife. It is not only wife to husband. Love and submission must be to one another.
CONCLUSION
Every marriage and/or wedding is symbol to the marriage and wedding of the Church with Jesus Christ in the air. This will come up one of these days in the air in heaven. You are sincerely invited to be a participant of that union.
