Now the question is what is Book 1 Waur Medge Academy? Waur Medge Academy is the first book of Splinterlands' new campaign mode. It is a PvE based learning journey, where the player can learn the rules of the game, card powers, strategy and battle mechanics step by step. It is basically a story + tutorial + reward based experience. War Mage Academy is Splinterlands' new PvE to teach new players the basic strategies, rules and card powers of the game step by step before they face Ranked Battles or tough opponents.
This book is also divided into small chapters or chunks, with each battle designed to teach a specific topic or strategy. You start as a new adventurer heading to the Waur Medge Academy of Battle Magic, where you will gain the basics of Battle Magic. However, previously, learning opportunities for beginners in the Splinterlands were limited. Waur Medge Academy solves that problem, where you can learn from it. It teaches card positioning, mana cost, attack type, and each card's special ability in a very easy-to-use way. This is a PvE mode, so there is no fear of losing your rating or ranking like in Ranked if you lose. You will make mistakes, learn, and improve at your own pace. After completing the entire academy, you will have a complete beginner's deck of basic cards, which will prepare you for moving into Ranked.
What is Waur Medge Academy special? This is because Splinterlands PvE mode was introduced for the first time and newcomers can quickly understand the battle system.
